I'm going to have to change mine to hedgehogs which is one choice. Cheese - one pineapple, one pickled onion.

I'm having a traditional buffet, everyone is bringing one dish.

You can have posh if that's what you like, I'm not.

Nobody has mentioned my favourite, mini corned beef pasties or corned beef pie.

From your list - Sausage roll, but chicken vol-au-vent is my absolute favourite.

I'm changing DC to pigs in blankets and Dbro to trifle - I make individual trifles with jelly, bought (finest) custard, whipped cream and silver balls (dragée so posh even though I'm frightfully common)

Don't limit yourself to my list. I'm keen to hear ultimate choices.

A looooooong time ago I went to ex-p's work Xmas do. The buffet had 'bite sized orbs of turkey with a creamy garlic filling, wrapped in breadcrumbs'

Or, as I later found out, Bernard Matthews Mini Kievs.

Oh this is very hard. I would happily live on buffet type food for all meals for the rest of my days.

Chunks of lovely ripe melon wrapped in salty Parma ham on cocktail sticks
Sundried tomato and mozzarella skewers

Tuna tartare with avocado in little shot glasses
Cold roast beef fillet cut into the finest slivers with horseradish cream

Honey and mustard cocktail sausages
A whole baked Camembert with things to dip in it (crudités, crusty bread and the like)

Foie gras on Melba toast with fig chutney
Roasted prunes wrapped in bacon

Me-too indecisive, head will explode trying to choose between butties, sausages rolls, pork pies, crisps.... I love a buffet.

Mushroom vol au vonts. Vastly underrated.
