Appeal for Lego cards for a special little boy with autism

I am a long time poster under different names, this name was created when we were hunting for the only cup that Max would drink from and we had some great help from MNetters

I posted last time Sainsbury's did the Lego card promotion and I managed to collect quite a few (and also then went on to help people find the ones they were missing) now they are out again and I am on the hunt for as many as I can get

Maxwell is a lovely little boy who has autism and is non-verbal, his eyes light up when he sees these cards and when Maxwell likes something then it's not a passing phase, which is why we need to collect as many as possible so that some can be put away to replace current ones as the years go by

MNetters have been so helpful in the past with the cup, Lego cards and McDonald's emoji toys, so I'm reaching out to you all once again. I am happy to cover any postage costs

Thankyou so much everyone, I think I've PMed you all Smile it's a really tough time of year with going back to school and change of routine after 6 weeks at home. These will hopefully make it a calmer time at home, which will be especially good for his younger brother who is amazing with Max and so understanding of everything

I really can't thank you all enough, it warms my heart that so many of you are willing to help us despite not even knowing us.

I do try to pay it back offline in any way that I can and also on MN with collections that Max isn't interested in, and last year I looked through what cards we had as new packets were opened to try and help people finish the last 1 or 2 cards in their collections on MN and I will do the same this year.

Today the postman brought 3 more wonderful envelopes, to go with the 2 from yesterday Smile

There was -
A brown envelope inside a brown envelope which contained lots of loose yellow cards Smile
A white envelope containing lots of loose blue cards Smile
Packs of blue cards from @KnotsInMay Smile

Following on from the deliveries of packs of blue cards yesterday from @iklboo and @notWORKzilla

Thankyou so much, I can't express how much calmer I feel knowing I have so much support, and knowing that these will keep Max busy, happy and calm. It really means the world to me

My DS is collecting them but he'll get bored of them after a while so if you're just wanting cards to keep for future use, & aren't in a hurry for them, I'll post them to you when he's forgotten about them if that's any good?

There is no Sainsbury in Ireland but I will keep an eye out in case any Supermarket here does them (thanks to the people who put up pictures) Have passed on your request to all my uk friends and family.😀

I remember you - we sent some McDonald's emoji toys for Max last time. Hope he is well and is enjoying the new Lego cards. My girls have some loose ones - I'll get them to sort them out and then we'll send them to you.
