Ok so I will kick this off. I clearly did not pay attention during sex ed cos here I am mid 30s just finding this out.

Your pee and your period come out of 2 different bits.

Astonished when I found this out today reading reviews on moon cups.

Anyone got any to add?

I've had an iPhone for years and only discovered last week if you press the button twice it brings up all you open apps 😨

Mrbatmun · 04/09/2018 18:41

I think it's Brad Pitt that's the same age as Nigel Farage.

Yes, that was it! Just looked it up, they are both 54.

KateMcD451 · 04/09/2018 18:45

This isn't a mind-blowing fact more of a ridiculous, how did I not know this fact. Until a few years ago I thought Skegness was in Scotland and worryingly, was convinced New Zealand was north of Australia not south. I actually was do convinced if this I thought the map I was looking at must be wrong Blush

Fleurdalys · 04/09/2018 18:45

Oh dear.
Mind blown at OP

Cracker1970 · 04/09/2018 18:48

That there were people alive when President Kennedy got shot whose parents had emigrated across America in the wagon trains.

Fleurdalys · 04/09/2018 18:49

Ooh my post is all red
Ive been about forever but just got savvy enough to upload the app.
( embarrassed)
Ps Op
You have 3 low down openings.

This is why parents should use the correct biological terms for body parts rather than foofoo rubbish. Basic teaching of anatomy shouldn't be left to science/page teachers.

MadamBatty · 04/09/2018 18:50

So have you ever had sex with a man OP, did you think he was putting it in your urether? What happens when you’re pregnant, how did you think you’d pee?

Halfahunnerstillastunner · 04/09/2018 18:50

OP get thee to a biology book! (Or a hand mirror).
I had to explain to a youngster at work that the "save" icon is the shape it is because of the actual physical discs we used to have to save our data on. He was mind blown. I felt as ancient as the bloody Trex.

newnamechange1234 · 04/09/2018 18:53

@sirmione16

lots33 · 04/09/2018 18:57

Fireman Sam and Robert the Robert are the same person!

heidipi · 04/09/2018 18:58

Not me but my DP (40 at the time) only found out at ante-natal classes that a womb and a uterus were the same thing - apparently he thought I had one of each. Once for the baby and the other ... to keep a packed lunch in maybe? Grin

CorianderDestroysFamilies · 04/09/2018 18:59

@Pawnee and when she went away (at 100+ years) she was told she was too old to hire a car... so she bought one.

cloudtree · 04/09/2018 19:00

The tenth president of the united states John Tyler born in 1790 still has two living grandsons

EggWallace · 04/09/2018 19:00

I was going to submit the Farage/Depp/Pitt age facts but they’ve already been said! Blew my mind that did

AsteroidAsterix · 04/09/2018 19:02

Urethra batty

MadamBatty · 04/09/2018 19:05

Sorry Asteroid, my phone has a mind of its own when it comes to spelling.

ChristianGreysAnatomy · 04/09/2018 19:06

Have we done the Channel fucking Tunnel yet?

poshme · 04/09/2018 19:14

What about the channel tunnel?

AamdC · 04/09/2018 19:14

Christian Grin

EyUpOurKid · 04/09/2018 19:20

My Dad told me earlier that a violin is nicknamed a fiddle because the bloke who made them in their thousands was called Fidel. I have not fact checked this. It could be bollocks.

My dh thought a terra cotta was a small orange tortoise bred and harvested for its shell. Which was, apparently, a crying shame. Couldn't believe it that he'd been boycotting B&Q for years due to this cruel practice that never existed

MrsJMartintheFirst · 04/09/2018 19:21

@cloudtree wow! How can that be!?! Mind blowing.

What about the Channel Tunnel? I thought it would be like a clear tube and you'd be able to see all the marine life swim by 😃

What's the face about Loch Ness and Ben Nevis? Loch Ness is deeper than Ben Nevis is high? Am prepared to be corrected on that one 😬

MrsJMartintheFirst · 04/09/2018 19:22

Fact not face. Bloody autocorrect 🙄

InezGraves · 04/09/2018 19:23

We must be due the one about envelope shoulders on baby vests too.
