What crossbreed dogs would you like to see ?

I hope this doesn't sound Frankensteiny. Poodles and spaniels are routinely cross bred so I don't see why others can't, within reason.

Pointers, especially GSPs and Weimaraners, are very sleek, elegant animals and I like the boisterous affection of Labradors. A cross of these two could produce a handsome dog that isn't prone to getting fat !

Obviously, a Jack Russell - St.Bernard cross is a non-starter.

I have a staffy x husky, we call him a huffy - didnt get him for that designer name 😂..... Fortunately he got both breeds best points (that we know of so far) I love all fluffy breeds. I'd like to see a dalmatian + gsd, rhetorically speaking of course.

I met someone once who told me her village had quite a lot of unusual dogs because of of a local male dachshund who was a canine Houdini/Casanova. (Or for fellow TP fans, Casanunda)

I assume if you want to deliberately cross dogs of different sizes then the rule must always be big bitch, small dog?

Just don't cross a GSD with a Lab. Only met three and they've all taken the 'worst' traits of each nreed.

We have one - a rescue. She is the most beautiful, sweet-natured, loving and intelligent dog imaginable. I would have another in a heartbeat.

I want a Newfie/Leonberger cross - I'd have a big, shaggy, loveable dufus.

Shame I live in the Caribbean, this is no place for a cold climate dog...😞

I’ve got a cockapoo too - lovely intelligent pup with character and cuddles.

Poodle + Dalmatian. A big curly spotty dog Grin
But in reality I'm not sure overbreeding or designer dogs are a good thing.

“We didn't want a big dog but needed lots of energy and to be low allergy.”

But what will you do if when her adult coat comes in it’s more like a spaniels than a poodles and causes allergies to react?

Can't always guarantee it works like that. I have a cross breed and hes a lovely family pet but is double the work as he is two lively backwards dogs bred into one
