Did anyone just see it?
Was that real?
Did the show expect it to be jokey and misjudged it?

Either she is unwell or in pain or she's putting on a good act.

I don't know how I feel about what I watched if I'm honest.

Omfg, that’s horrendous 😮 I hate ITV for Jeremy Kyle as it is, but Kim Woodburn is very talented and to see her like that being bullied on national tv just beggars belief.

SummerStrong · 29/08/2018 14:41

She is obviously unwell, it isn't right that she's being booked out for entertainment.

I watched CBB that year, she wasn't bullied. She was just really horrible and volatile, she needs to get some help.

Link for Ofcom complaints if anyone needs it.

Anyone seen UnReal on Netflix? The producers of Loose Women must be ecstatic.

TacoFriday · 29/08/2018 14:43

“it isn't right that she's being booked out for entertainment. ”

Is she a minor or an animal? She doesn’t get “booked out” - she agrees and signs a contract for which she is paid.

HeadsDownThumbsUpEveryone · 29/08/2018 14:46

she agrees and signs a contract for which she is paid.

Just because she is not a child or an animal doesn't mean she is in a state of mind to make such decisions. She clearly states she is only there for the money and she is obviously not well. I think its pretty obvious she was exploited by ITV.

In much the same way the socially dispossessed are booked onto JK then bear baited for entertainment. Can they really know what they’re consenting to as most of them appear to be either mentally unwell or have low intelligence levels?

It smacks of the Victorian activity of going to the lunatic asylum to laugh at the mad people Sad

www.itv.com/loosewomen/kim-woodburn-storms-off-loose-women-after-being-reunited-with-cbb-housemate-coleen-nolan

They've blocked the earlier thread but the above works.

I don't know the back story but the Nolan sisters were bullying her. It was really uncomfortable to watch.

papayasareyum · 29/08/2018 15:04

I haven’t watched loose women for years. It’s an awful, vacuous show with talentless presenters and vulgar tactics designed to boost ratings. The only decent presenter is Janet Street Porter. God only knows why someone of Janet’s stature is appearing on this awful dross of a show. When they started introducing people like Katie Price as presenters and getting rid of their real presenters, I stopped watching. It was/is dross.

shadypines · 29/08/2018 15:05

Well said knitted and it's about time they stopped peddling this feud as entertainment. I saw this wheeled out not that long ago and now here it is again, what a cringe-fest. Unless Nolan and Woodburn are neighbours they don't need to see each other again so why not just drop it.( and let's hope Kim gets some help)

It's little wonder there's a ton of bullying/bitchy/nastiness threads concerned with young girls. Great example LW.

AdoraBell · 29/08/2018 15:38

ITV have blocked the Youtube video, says on copyright grounds but I’m glad it’s blocked as it sounds like she was badly treated.

EnidButton · 29/08/2018 16:04

Haven't watched it for years and years but wondered why it was the top trend on Twitter. They're getting torn apart on there.

EnidButton · 29/08/2018 16:08

Seen a clip now. That's horrible. Uncomfortable to watch a group of women gang up on another woman whilst an audience laughs, jeers and applauds them. Nasty, cheap and grubby. They should be ashamed but I doubt it.

Vitalogy · 29/08/2018 16:11

I think Linda Robson genuinely wanted to comfort Kim but she knocked her hand away.

HelenaDove · 29/08/2018 16:12

Shane Nolan has called Kim a "fruit loop" on twitter. Just fucking nasty.

HelenaDove · 29/08/2018 16:13

Kim felt it was a bit two faced of Linda to do that.

EwItsAHooman · 29/08/2018 16:15

Two sisters and their two mates invite a woman in her 70s onto national TV to talk about what they know is a sore subject and fullt aware that she has mental health issues then proceed to make her cry.

Absolutely shameful.

Vitalogy · 29/08/2018 16:17

Kim felt it was a bit two faced of Linda to do that. Yes she did didn't she but I think Linda's automatic reaction to help was genuine.

QueenOfMyWorld · 29/08/2018 16:22

It was utterly surreal,i wasnt sure if they were all acting at one point.Totally unprofessional

Cabochard · 29/08/2018 16:25

At one time ( as shitty as the show could be ) it contained real presenters / journalists etc...
Now, it’s just friends or relatives of someone who got monumentally lucky to be on TV in the first place!
It has made a total mockery of any mental health issues they have previously pretended to support.

QueenOfMyWorld · 29/08/2018 16:25

The episode is on itv player

Imchangingmyname · 29/08/2018 16:38

What a fucking disgrace and the worst thing is you could tell that the 3 of them (exception Linda Robson) were absolutely loving it.

NotExactlyHappyToHelp · 29/08/2018 16:43

Oh god that’s actually really fucking awful!

I watched the Metro link up thread and that was bad enough but I’ve just watched the whole 10 minute segment and I’m aghast!

That blonde one on the far left (Coleens sister is it?) is spiteful poisonous twat. They all seem to be revelling in it.

I’m sure KW has her moments and seems like she’s very forthright but there’s no justification for that shitty kangaroo court they’ve just put her through.

surferjet · 29/08/2018 16:45

Revolting women.

Poor Kim.

picklemepopcorn · 29/08/2018 16:55

Very sad. Kim seems to have a very rigid 'friend/enemy' mentality, and can't cope with people trying to sit on the fence.

When Kim asked the dark haired Nolan what she wanted to say, a simple 'I don't want to fight with you' would have gone a long way. The blonde Nolan was actively spiteful, the others just a bit useless.
