Arrived back from holiday on Friday and have just booked flights for summer 2019!!!! The flights to Spain are the dates and times we want, £145 each including luggage.

Yes! Back to the same cottage in Lancashire we usually go to. Booked last week, coinciding nicely with my not so DBs “save the date” card Grin

So sorry, we didn’t realise! Have a lovely day Grin

IStillMissBlockbuster · 28/08/2018 18:24

Balls, I didn't know that Ta1kinpeace. I can't see me booking anything until this is sorted to be honest.

Justanotheruser01 · 28/08/2018 18:24

Yes, Sydney in June 2020.

Ta1kinpeace · 28/08/2018 18:25

The US ambassador had not realised it affected HIM so you are not alone !

A "no deal Brexit" really is something to be avoided if at all possible.

Mexicohereicome · 28/08/2018 18:28

See user name lol. Mexico October 2019 booked. First long haul holiday 😊

whosaidthat6 · 28/08/2018 18:29

Yep, off to Florida for 3 weeks in June 2019. Booked as soon as the flights were released.

Filzma · 28/08/2018 18:30

When is he best time to book the tickets? Cheapest?

Mymomsbetterthanyomom · 28/08/2018 18:33

Bragging is incredibly unattractive ladies.~Oh really, well my 2 yr old can read~...~Well,my 6 month old is potty trained~!!!
That's what you all sound like!!

glenthebattleostrich · 28/08/2018 18:38

We have our accomodation booked in April, need to book flights.

Debating between Disneyland Paris and Northumberland for August! Big Disney may 2020!!!

silver1977 · 28/08/2018 18:40

why Mymomsbetterthanyomom? The question was "Any one else already booked summer 2019 holiday?" Confused

Sirzy · 28/08/2018 18:46

How is it bragging? For me I book early to get a decent price, get the accommodation that meets DS needs and to allow me to budget.

Parker231 · 28/08/2018 18:48

I usually book way ahead for European and long haul trips but not risking booking anything until there is clarity on the Brexit position - don’t want to lose my holiday and not be able to recover the money back. I’ve checked my travel insurance (annual policy) and we wouldn’t be covered.

Has anyone found travel insurance which would cover if there is no Open Skies agreement? I can’t find one.

YeTalkShiteHen · 28/08/2018 18:48

Not bragging at all! We got 30% off because we booked within 3 months of going the last time!

HouseworkIsASin10 · 28/08/2018 18:55

Booked Sept 19 flights TC Airlines and hoping any problems post Brexit will be sorted by then.

Parker231 · 28/08/2018 19:00

For those who have booked, did you find a company without the exclusions in the T&C’s? Which one please, as I’d love to get holidays booked.

Jaimx86 · 28/08/2018 19:34

I’ll be booking my flights with Easyjet when they are released in September, and then booking my accommodation with Booking.com

We’re doing a ‘tour’ of three Greek islands. The flights should be approx. £400 return based on what we paid this year. We’ll only book accommodation that is cancellable until week before arrival - this means that we’ll only lose our £400 flights should there still be issues following Brexit in August.

tillytoodles1 · 28/08/2018 19:42

My daughter sells holidays to Disneyland Paris, she's sold loads for next year already.

mummyeme · 28/08/2018 19:46

Booked for Turkey again the day after we got back and cannot wait!

Justanotheruser01 · 28/08/2018 20:04

Why is it bragging to have something to look forward to?

Bluelonerose · 28/08/2018 20:19

Nope because the dc want a dishwasher instead of a holiday Shock

BG2015 · 28/08/2018 20:22

Going to Jersey for 2 weeks, booked the hotel and just waiting for EasyJet to release their flights.

Looking to book Mexico for April 2020 once those holidays are released.

DrMadelineMaxwell · 28/08/2018 21:39

Yes, to Malta as I've always wanted to go. I've booked it with my local travel agent though, because I only had to pay a £50pp deposit now and the rest 12 weeks before we go. By then, any Brexit things will be a lot clearer and we'll either lose the £150 or pay the balance. I'd have booked online but they either wanted dd payments or a hefty deposit - plus my tavel agent always beats package company prices, yet still books through the same companies.

Ta1kinpeace · 28/08/2018 22:17

Disneyland is less of a problem because you can get there by ferry or train.

Flights are a big issue.
Hence why Easyjet is moving its "domicile" to Austria at the moment.

HolidayModeMum · 29/08/2018 14:24

Not bragging, just being practical. The flights I paid £145 each for yesterday are now on sale for £200.......
