If you have an unusual middle name, do you like it?

Do you wish your parents had been a bit more conventional when they named you?

If you gave your own dcs usual middle names do you regret it?

A relative has mentioned using Dragon and it's got me thinking about names.

I am not pregnant, or planning to be - Just pondering.

I have middle names, all quite unusual. Doesn't really bother me at all, they're not used for anything - did make an interested vow recital at our wedding though.

Our dds is Ursula we thought about it as a first name but didn't like the Disney connection - as a middle name her dad is Ursus as a middle name and hers Ursula - bear and little bear - it kept a polish connection.

@VladimirsPoutine, my guess is Vienna, because I think it would make a pretty girl's name.

I have a very unusual first name, and overall I like it, but some people insist on misspelling or mispronouncing it as a more common name (one of which is a boy's name). I gave DD a name that was somewhat less unusual and obviously feminine.

My middle name is Jane, and I like it, but I'd have been happy with something very unusual (in theory, anyway). I think middle names are like tattoos, they add a bit of extra colour, but you can usually hide them if you want to.

That's a nice way of looking at middle names. Smile

Thanks everyone.
