What was it like?

I've applied to be on two, and I'm nervous!

My DH was on Fifteen to One (twice), 100% and Mastermind (inc semi final and final).

I wish I was clever enough for mastermind.

I always wanted to go on Total Wipeout

@ProfYaffle, I love Catchphrase, sometimes I'm pretty good but I think nerves would get to me and I wouldn't make it past the first bit. What did your friend say about being on there?

I know 3 folk-1 won £8k on millionaire, 1 won £28k on deal & 1 won a few k on pointless!

I'm American, and know not one but two Jeopardy champions.

One of my best friends has been on both The Chase and Tipping Plint and won on both!

People were pretty rude about her on Twitter when she was on Tipping Point. But she got the £10k so she didn’t particularly care

I applied for the chase and got a call back within 10 hours for phone 'interview' and invite for London camera interview thing the week after!

It was like an overly keen man- scared me off 😂😂 maybe I should call back and reorganise

I would have dearly loved to have been on Supermarket Sweep

DH was on the school’s 15 to 1 and proudly showed me the video when we started dating! I applied for the Weakest Link but got scared when called to go on it so backed out. Would love to go on The Chase. Good luck if you do go on!

I was on Blockbusters back in the day. I still have my dictionary which everyone signed but I've lost my sweatshirt. It was a great experience and it's so much fun staying in a hotel with loads of other young people, for most of us it was our first trip away without our parents.
I didn't do very well but had such a laugh. It must have been about 30 years ago

@aspiehere - just that it was fun. He didn't do very well but they all had a laugh, he was a minor celebrity with people recognising him for a while. He didn't take it very seriously so wasn't really bothered about how well he did.

A friend went on The Weakest Link once. He said Anne Robinson was actually lovely. He was rubbish, on it, I think he was one of the first to go.

My mum was in the last ever final of Mastermind. At least they said it was the last one because Magnus Magnusson was retiring but then they brought it back.

She's also been on 15 to 1 and University Challenge. She was on UC in the 60s and then again as a special when they had the finalists of "last ever" Mastermind versus that year's UC finalists. So she's been on UC under Bamber Gascoigne and Jeremy Paxman.

I want to go on Pointless but nobody will apply with me either!

An ex was on supermarket sweep. They should bring it back, it was great fun.

DD's friend was on love island!

My mum's been on lot! I did £100k Drop last year which was lush as Davina was lovely but INCREDIBLY thin.

I know 2 people that have been on eggheads. They are told they aren't allowed to give the correct answer straight away but have to talk about why the other answers are wrong before giving the right answer. Neither people won!

I was debating wether to apply for impossible or tenable 🤔 I always do very well at home but know I will probs get brain freeze if I go n it 😂

My teacher was on the chase 🤣
