I find I don't drink much in the day but always drink a pint of water if not two through the night!

Anyone else?

I'm always thirsty, nor diabetes for me as I've been gaining weight, not losing it sadly.

Think it's probably linked to medication. I have a bottle by my bed which I sip. I always wake in night now anyway, even if I don't drink anything.

I should have thought of that Salve (I love that programme Grin)
My cousin drank endless cups of tea when she was on anti depressants.

MissLadyM · 18/08/2018 00:25

I drink a fair bit of water through the day but have a huge amount through the night!

Ollivander84 · 18/08/2018 00:30

Nope, I sleep like the dead as my mum puts it. Me and dad both the same Blush he slept through a burglary, the alarm, mum getting up and the police arriving Confused

Ginkypig · 18/08/2018 00:44

I have a severely deviated septum so I can't really breathe through my nose but that means I get a very dry mouth and cracked sore lips.

I take a bottle of water to bed not a glass in case a spider gets in it! I have regular sips through the night to wet my mouth but try not to have loads so I'm not peeing all night.

Don’t you all feel sick with tiredness in the morning thanks to such disturbed sleep?

EBearhug · 18/08/2018 00:47

Always take a glass of water to bed, very rarely drink it, but if I don't have a glass, I will probably be up in the middle of the night with raging thirst or a coughing fit, because then I would have to get up and go all the way downstairs to get some water. It's all in the mind.

Forkrightorf · 18/08/2018 00:54

Only if I'm a little bit pissed Blush

PlatypusPie · 18/08/2018 01:06

I may take the occasional sip if I wake, though was drinking more during the recent hot spell. My husband always has water and drinks about a half large glass a night. He thinks I don’t drink enough in general.

ToothTrauma · 18/08/2018 01:09

I take a bottle but rarely drink it in the night. I drink it in the morning when I take my tablets.

underneaththeash · 18/08/2018 01:30

I have a pint if orange squash by the bed, which usually gets drunk through the night.

ShumpaLumpa · 18/08/2018 08:00

I'm so jealous of you water drinkers. My thirst has mostly gone so I have to remind myself to drink water. I always have a bottle of fresh water near me (eau de tap) but I just don't feel thirsty.

missyB1 · 18/08/2018 08:13

voteHilary yes I’m knackered every day because I wake up so often to drink and wee!

Violetroselily · 18/08/2018 08:19

I keep a bottle by my bed because I take a tablet as soon as I wake up in the morning

I only drink from it through the night if I wake up very thirsty

Bluesheep8 · 18/08/2018 08:20

I drink around 3 litres during the day and always take a pint of water to bed. I don't ever remember drinking it but it's usually gone in the morning so I must drink it half asleep!

ShatnersBassoon · 18/08/2018 08:20

No, I don't wake up. I usually have a drink of tea or water before going to bed, and that is obviously enough to see me through the night.

Danceintherain2018 · 18/08/2018 09:29

VoteHillary I wake up once for the loo in the night and am awake for literally about 2 minutes, then back to sleep so it doesn't disturb me at all!

Me and DP both have water bottles specifically for bedtime. Sometimes we drink it all and sometimes not, I think it depends if what we ate for dinner was salty or not.

FurryDogMother · 18/08/2018 10:10

I always have water next to me, day and night - I usually wake up once at night for a wee, then have a few glugs of water before I go back to sleep. I'm not diabetic, I just like water!

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 18/08/2018 10:33

I take a pint of juice up to bed. Don't always drink it all but usually a fair bit.

kenandbarbie · 18/08/2018 10:41

Yeah I take a pint of Robinson's, sometimes I sip it in the night if I wake up, otherwise I drink it as soon as I'm awake in the morning.
