I find I don't drink much in the day but always drink a pint of water if not two through the night!

Anyone else?

No i’d end up needing to wake up for the loo and I hate having a disrupted sleep. I drink a lot during the day (3litres of water/herbal tea) and try not to drink past about 9pm

Crunchymum · 17/08/2018 22:51

Used to take a glass but wakened one night to find the cat slurping at it Shock

So took a bottle after that Grin and yes I wake most nights for a drink including nights I used a glass that the fecking cat supped out of

Danceintherain2018 · 17/08/2018 23:01

I usually wake up once around 2/3am for the loo and drink the rest of it then!

I always have a pint of water by my bed, dp and I take one up every night.
I don’t really wake up to drink it but I often drink it before I go to sleep. Don’t get up for a wee though.

NonaGrey · 17/08/2018 23:28

Nope, only if I had a cough or a sore throat.

I don’t get up to the loo during the night either.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 17/08/2018 23:29

I always drink in the night, rarely need the loo.

PickAChew · 17/08/2018 23:29

I keep a mug by my bed. Need a sip before I go to sleep and have a raging thirst if I wake up at 3am for a wee.

Floralnomad · 17/08/2018 23:30

I drink a lot during the day and always have a bottle of water by the bed , I always drink a fair bit of it but I don’t get up for the loo in the night .

swapsicles · 17/08/2018 23:33

Nope, night-time is for sleeping not wandering to the loo and gulping down water, I'm out like a light usually till just before my alarm

ScreamingValenta · 17/08/2018 23:34

Yes, always.

SirHubzALot · 17/08/2018 23:37

Yes but my cat keeps drinking it and then I don't want the rest.

GoldenHoops · 17/08/2018 23:42

Used to until I found a HUGE spider in my glass of water. I'm rarely sleep all night so now I just get up and make one.

LuckyDiamond · 17/08/2018 23:46

Yes, a pint with ice. Have done for years. I don’t always drink it. Back in the day I took a glass of wine to bed.

Cantthinkofabloodyname · 17/08/2018 23:50

I always have a bottle of water on my bedside table as I need to take painkillers before I get out of bed. I also wake up with horrendous migraines quite often, so I have tablets for that too.

Dementedswan · 17/08/2018 23:52

Always drink a pint of water before i go to sleep and a pint on waking. Usually get up for the loo 2 hours before I have to get up and enjoy a snooze

TinklyLittleLaugh · 17/08/2018 23:58

God no. I rarely drink anything after 9 o clock. Sleep like a log. Never wake in the night. I would hate to have to get up for the loo.

I don't think it's normal to have a raging thirst all night. Perhaps some of you should get checked out for diabetes just in case.

rudeycrudey · 18/08/2018 00:00

A glass of water before bed but none through the night.

Crunchymum · 18/08/2018 00:01

@LuckyDiamond

A glass of wine? To bed? You fiend.

Did you ever drink it??? Wine

sophiec123 · 18/08/2018 00:01

Nope! I rarely drink at all!

SimonBridges · 18/08/2018 00:02

I tend to sleep with my mouth open, much to my husband annoyance.
Therefore I take a pint of water to bed but often don’t drink it all.

DamnWhyAreAllTheUsernamesTaken · 18/08/2018 00:04

Yes, every time I wake up I’m super thirsty!

LoniceraJaponica · 18/08/2018 00:04

No. I usually sleep right through and on the rare occasion I wake up I don't usually fancy a drink of water.

All of you who drink loads through the night - have you been checked for diabetes?

SpectacularAardvark · 18/08/2018 00:06

I have a lid on my glass of water to stop the cat drinking out of it and the bugs swimming in it, does a great job.

LuckyDiamond · 18/08/2018 00:07

@Crunchymum yes, of course I did! I gave it up in my late 20s when I got together with DH though.

StorminaTCut · 18/08/2018 00:11

Fridge temp filtered water. If I wake hungry then its cereal, toast, banana or biscuits with a cup of tea.
