Do you wonder about Victoria Beckham?

I don't suppose I'd wonder about this at if every time she'd been photographed over the past 14 years she'd had one of her other three children in her arms and it was clearly her parenting style to keep her children with her constantly, but she hasn't.

I'm fully well aware that different children have different characters/traits/needs and have their own individual relationships with their mothers but this does seem to be a departure from the way she's been with her other three children.

You just never see a photo of VB these days without Harper in her arms and that doesn't seem to have been the case before.

Am I being cynical to think that it might have something to do with her being a much wanted and longed for daughter after three sons?

Dunno but I feel sorry for Harper constantly being papped. Don't even get me started on the Daily Mail's stalker like antics with Suri Cruise.

This is not so much the paper stalking (as much as DM has to fill its pages with drivel) but instead will be a lot to do with Katie Holmes publicist 'allowing' photos to be taken.

As far as I am aware no one is that interested in KH, but hers is one of few children constantly in the gutter press.

HOWEVER

I fucking cannot stand MelB

there was a documentary about clebs living with people in poverty and she was tactless, insenstitve and a complete TWAT

if anyone wants to bitch about her, fine by me!!!

I heart VB a little bit though, I do admire her for what she has acheived

Sparklingbrook · 01/03/2013 09:36

Ooh start a thread from. I can moan about her on the Jenny Craig advert for hours.

Food delivered to your doorstep. Hmm

TerraNotSoFirma · 01/03/2013 10:02

I love VB, Love her.

I think the fact that she has harper in her arms has more to do with the age gaps than anything else. Her boys were all quite close together.

They seem like a lovely family.

I dont dare! you do it and I promise to join in

MakingAnotherList · 01/03/2013 10:31

I have 5 children and carry my you g son much more than I ever used to carry the others. But it's laziness on my part. I can't be bothered to take the pram out and strap him in every time I pop out somewhere.
It certainly doesn't mean that I love him more than my others, or that I want to show him off.

MakingAnotherList · 01/03/2013 10:31

young son

mrsjay · 01/03/2013 10:32

I saw a picture of VB and harper last week in the paper Granted I think the headline was 'going to shop' or something but she was there , 1 of her sons had a seizure didnt he a few years ago the flashes were blamed I dont think she takes him out as much,
I hate VB persona I dont know her obviously but what does she do really not a lot stands around pouting and holding a kid on her hip. style icon PAH

Eskino · 01/03/2013 10:36

She carries Harper to cover her bulging muffin top.

mrsjay · 01/03/2013 10:37

yep VB dislikers are haters and terribley jealous and insecure Wink

Sparklingbrook · 01/03/2013 10:42

Yes they are mrsjay all exploding with envy over her perfect lifestyle apparently. Everyone has to think DB is sex on legs too and are envious she has such a fantastic DH. Confused

mrsjay · 01/03/2013 10:44

oh yes I so explode with Envy when I see her pouty face everywhere she is going to get to old to pout she is starting to look daft doing it, ( oops i said that out loud )

peppersaunt · 01/03/2013 10:51

Remember when Brooklyn was born he was always pictured being carried by a "friend". FFS just admit its the nanny.

mrsjay · 01/03/2013 10:55

you usually see the nannyfriend pushing the pram behind her dont you

mrsjay · 01/03/2013 11:38

HazeltheMcWitch · 01/03/2013 11:38

Sad Sparkling?

MAybe you could get a girl-doll and carry that about a bit?
What about your cat - male or female? Carry-able?

HazeltheMcWitch · 01/03/2013 11:39

did not mean that ? there in 1st line.

mrsjay · 01/03/2013 11:39

in her defence I am sure VB loves her children equally and harper doesnt seem dressed very girl and pretty IYSWIM it looks like just another baby in her arms

HazeltheMcWitch · 01/03/2013 11:40

Now hips, MrsJ. I ahve hips aplenty. I have hips that are made for toting kiddies on them.
Heck, I could probably carry Godzilla around on my hip.

Sparklingbrook · 01/03/2013 11:41

I held them really Hazel. Didn't know it wasn't allowed. Grin Sparkling Cat is a girl and likes being held like a baby. BUT can't really take her out shopping. Sad
