Do you wonder about Victoria Beckham?

I don't suppose I'd wonder about this at if every time she'd been photographed over the past 14 years she'd had one of her other three children in her arms and it was clearly her parenting style to keep her children with her constantly, but she hasn't.

I'm fully well aware that different children have different characters/traits/needs and have their own individual relationships with their mothers but this does seem to be a departure from the way she's been with her other three children.

You just never see a photo of VB these days without Harper in her arms and that doesn't seem to have been the case before.

Am I being cynical to think that it might have something to do with her being a much wanted and longed for daughter after three sons?

When all of the children were small they always travelled with her. She was interviewed once and said they would all travee with her if possible but they had to go to school.

Apart from the ' I'm a fashion designer now' malarkey I find it hard to knock her.

I love how she dresses Harper!

Oh dear how jealous.

I think VB is great. She was the most successful one when they married not him. She has had 4 kids and as far as I remember she has always been photographed with all of them constantly.

She has a successful business and was part if the most successful girl group in the world.

She is British!!! She has a sense of humour and a friend who is a PA for an agency in London maintains that she was charming when she visited their office.

My friend works for her. She is very involved in the day to day running of her fashion business and calls herself a working mum. Harper is in every meeting with her, though she does also have a nanny who sits at the back in case she becomes unruly. I guess the nature of her business now is very different to the music career she had when the boys were tiny... That would be my guess as to why she is photographed with harper so much. I don't know her at all, but I don't see why it's a bad thing, that she takes her little girl everywhere instead of leaving her. I've never thought much of her, but I respect her for What she has achieved with her fashion line. She definitely works hard and she doesn't need to.

I love VB.
I can't help it but I do. I mean I'm supposed to hate her right? Skinny, gorgeous, gorgeous husband etc etc.

But you go girl.

She sticks with what works for her and boy it does.

She doesn't live in the real world and I can't imagine how life must be for her. But there you go.

She also clung to Brooklyn and carried him around everywhere. Less so with Romeo and Cruz but Brooklyn was only 2 when he was born and you can't cling to you baby with a toddler. Ditto Cruz, when he was born his brothers were 2 and 6 so she had 3 kids to look after, clinging would not be possible.

When Harper was born her brothers were 12, 9 and 6 so she would have had her hands totally free for her baby with not toddler to chase.

It really annoys me the way people have to assume something sinister or that she doesn't love her boys as much just because they're boys. People always have to find something to criticize don't they?

Marmon, those pictures of her David posted on her twitter with a huge naked belly must have been very well photoshopped. And how funny that they would go to all that trouble to fake a pregnancy then she would whip the fake bump out in front of people who would gossip to their mates who post rubbish on web boards.

Last weekend I saw Victoria and David with their children in Aldi in Bolton. The kids were adorable and started to sing that Spice Girls song, 'Mama..we love you..' at the tops of their voices. Imagine my horror when Victoria screamed in a broad Lancashire accent, 'Shut it, you little fuckers!' David was mortified.

(Victoria's really fat, too, in real life).

Think that the image portrayed of VB as a mum belies the fact that she has huge amounts of professional help with her dc and with life in general - the nannies are never in the photos despite the fact that they are clearly doing most of the work with the kids.

I absolutely believe VD has succeeded in her fashion business through no association with her husband or due to the fact that she was already famous. I believe she designs all her clothes from scratch using an Etch-A-Sketch. I think her life must be hellish what with having no domestic help whatsoever and having had to wait so long for baby Harpic to complete her family. It's not easy having to scowl literally all your life whilst surviving on endometrial beans.

I think she is a superb role model for all starving ex-girl band members with 150 million pounds in the bank. Please leave her alone.

I have 3 boys similar ages to the Beckham boys and a daughter who is 2 months older then Harper. I carry my dd much more then I did my ds' because she is soooooooo clingy and whinges constantly in a buggy.

I'm also in more of a rush and it's easier to carry her then get the pushchair out.
I think the Beckham's seem great parents, but I do wish we could see a pic of Harper going off on one and the boys playing up. They are 4 very well behaved children.
