I have ranted on feminism, or lack of it, in France:

I joined in SGM's blog hop on violence against women, to tell the story of an amazing young woman I met in Kenya, called Vivian.

I have started a childrens food linky, because I am always desperate for a bit of inspiration!!

Another post that took bloody hours that no one will read - the posh doom laden history of Mary, Queen of Scots' bedchamber at Holyroodhouse. ;)

AhCmonSeriouslyNow · 29/11/2012 14:30

I blogged about The Final Countdown before I attempt a craft a day over at www.conqueringchristmas.blogspot.ca

PetiteRaleuse · 29/11/2012 15:42

I read both your dollhouse post and the Mary post MmeG. I do share your frustration though. Posts I write with no thought or effort are generally far more popular than the ones I feel I put the most effort into.

MmeGuillotine · 29/11/2012 15:54

It's so annoying! If I did a skittish one line ramble about total BOLLOCKS it'd get loads of comments but the pieces I work really hard on tend not to get much feedback. I've been told that this is because people are, in general, too intimidated to say anything but I think that was an EXCUSE.

And thank you for reading them! I realised I was missing writing big epic history posts so thought I'd slip a couple in. :)

I am starting a week of eating and cooking vegan food - (in a quest to lose weight, and to be more healthy, i admit, but am not advertising that fact.....

a week of vegan food (without any vaguely relevant photos )

Also, my camera is buggered.

Does anyone know how to un-automatically approve comments from someone, without formally unapproving and deleting their specific comment? i have a system where if someone is approved once, then they are automatically approved and i would like to make it that I have to check 'okay' each time.

Any help gratefully received!

egusta · 29/11/2012 20:28

No, 'tis okay. Found it. :) I knew I knew it somehow.

MmeGuillotine · 01/12/2012 14:33

I randomly came across a vintage postcard of the house that I grew up on Ebay and absolutely HAD to buy it and, of course, blog about it. :)
