Crush 2.0 is coming round tonight and I've blogged about my dilemma...

Sex, love, or self-preservation?

I received a copy of Hanna Rosin's The End of Men from Mumsnet last week, (thankyou), haven't read it all yet, but read enough to write this; The End of Men, or maybe not.

CraftsonSea · 29/10/2012 19:10

I've done some sewing which probably isn't the most revolutionary thing ever to hit mumsnet, but damn it I'm pleased with it and I don't care!

CraftsonSea · 29/10/2012 19:11

I am also looking at becoming a SAHM and am therefore avoiding parenting blogs at all cost because I like to tell myself it will be easy. Sticks head in the sand

A ghoulish and ghostly one from me today - but still on a foodie theme - keep those vampires away with some garlic jam!

time4anewname · 30/10/2012 13:08

Hi All
I just joined the bloggers network. I'm not ready to tweet/facebook my posts to people I actually know, just testing the water with strangers. Here's what happened in our house yesterday: anxiousmother.net/2012/10/29/obsessions-and-boiled-eggs/. (I can't do square brackets on the mac)
Boo's mum - my recipe for sleep is to have baby in the bed.
Also enjoyed the review of the End of Men, something I worry about for my boy.
Hang on, I'm supposed to go and comment on your blogs aren't I?
Anxious

Hi, this week's post on www.bishopstonmum.com is about a children's multi-activity centre in Bristol that I visited with my children:

Without funds for travel or a babysitter I was unable to attend an occupy economics event in the city yesterday. I wrote this in support of the urgent need for change. lifeafterdebts.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/placation-and-platitude.html

I wrote about Malala, a girl who was shot because she took a stance and promoted education for girls. It was a horrendous act that happened on her way home from school. Obviously, I found it upsetting for many reasons and I think it was made worse by being a mother. I see my daughter in her and I think about what the parents must be feeling. Malala.

Jill2 · 30/10/2012 21:19

It doesn't seem to want to link. Maybe someone can tell me what I am doing wrong. I had this problem last week. Malala

Jill2 · 30/10/2012 21:24

I will try it one more time Malala also I can give the link mommysnotes-yaffa.blogspot.co.uk

Second blog post this week, I emailed my daughter's school about the misogynist twaddle they show in film club, (well...I didn't put it quite like that).

This is my second post this week and second post on the Jimmy Savile scandal. There seems to be so much to say about it...
