I received a copy of Hanna Rosin's The End of Men from Mumsnet last week, (thankyou), haven't read it all yet, but read enough to write this; The End of Men, or maybe not.

I've done some sewing which probably isn't the most revolutionary thing ever to hit mumsnet, but damn it I'm pleased with it and I don't care!

I am also looking at becoming a SAHM and am therefore avoiding parenting blogs at all cost because I like to tell myself it will be easy. Sticks head in the sand

I wrote about Malala, a girl who was shot because she took a stance and promoted education for girls. It was a horrendous act that happened on her way home from school. Obviously, I found it upsetting for many reasons and I think it was made worse by being a mother. I see my daughter in her and I think about what the parents must be feeling. Malala.
