Hope this meets with your approval. It was getting a bit full on the other thread so we've extended and now need to decorate the new space.

For the walls.

Oh my. Oh my.

I love Cumberbatchweb on Twitter!!

Um - Ian Somerhalder for my second please since some bugger has already swiped Steve Backshall

Funny moment to share with you from earlier today:

DS: Mum, where does the man who plays Sherlock live in real life?
Me: Oh - um - no idea really - London maybe? That's where most actors live.

Do you think I got away with it? Grin

CaveMum · 10/03/2012 18:08

But, but, but why can't I have both? Perhaps on a rotational basis, I wouldn't want to tire them out Wink

LetUsPrey · 10/03/2012 18:33

You can have both but you have to give up a rota place with BC to accommodate it. So to speak Wink.

Off to google Ian Somthingy.

CaveMum · 10/03/2012 18:38

Nope, not giving up my dibs on BC, for anyone!

LetUsPrey · 10/03/2012 18:47

IAmSherlocked - I've added Ian Somerhalder as your second. Think you covered yourself well with the Sherlock quizzing!

I've been thinking. Steve Backshall's away quite a lot, so I might have a "just in case". Adam Levine anyone?. We could share. Grin

And who now is picturing BC nekkid in a similar pose? I know I am. Grin

OP posts:
IAmSherlocked · 10/03/2012 19:46

I have just watched two episodes of Deadly 60 with DS. I spent most of the time fixated on the amazing-ness of Steve's biceps. Blush

LetUsPrey, those are some amazing tattoos your man has there! In the spirit of naked torsos, let me throw Dan Ewing into the mix...

LetUsPrey · 10/03/2012 19:58

At the risk of getting distracted from the BCAS (as if), which D60 episodes were they? It's more difficult to get a Backshall fix than a BC fix at the moment!

OP posts:
IAmSherlocked · 10/03/2012 20:08

Ah - I set Deadly 60 on series record when it was last on CBBC so we had a lovely stash recorded. We're running low now Sad Just seen the one in Uganda with the mountain gorillas and the one in Thailand with that fecking scary King Cobra Shock

LetUsPrey · 10/03/2012 20:45

Love the Uganda one. It's one of the places on my never going to happen wish list. Was Thailand where he climbs the building next to the gecko?

Fluffymonster · 10/03/2012 21:15

I know it's been posted before, but phwoar

lovely eyes

LetUsPrey · 10/03/2012 21:28

Watching the last Sherlock. Difficult to watch without a big soppy Grin on my face which is a problem because I'm next to DH.

Andrew Scott's Moriarty is brilliant!

LetUsPrey · 10/03/2012 21:32

That first one is the picture I have taped to my monitor at work! Very very phwoar.

If we are picking seconds I am bagsi-ing Tom Hiddleston. Yummy. And hello everyone, longtime lurker for this thread. Just had to bring Tom into it; he has to have a mention :D

LetUsPrey · 10/03/2012 23:14

Welcome Smophette. Smile

Have a look at the link on my post from 17:29 today. You might like to get something soft ready to land on when you faint.

< makes note re second on piece of paper updates spreadsheet>

Smophette · 11/03/2012 13:06

I saw that! It inspired my post :D obviously the fact that those two were both in war horse had nothing to do with me going to see it. Oh no .......

sloppygirl · 11/03/2012 19:06

Hi All,
I discovered this thread last week, and it has fed my addiction! Really witty comments, and great links. Thanks so much. Wanted to say that I found him fascinating on the Jonathan Ross show. Really intelligent and witty. He is great looking, but best when he speaks, and his face is SO animated. Think that is the attraction! Having read the posts last week about the Hollywood parties, I just hope that he carries on making small films as well as blockbusters, and still manages to fit in the theatre, radio and TV work. He is so talented, that I hate to think he may just make a career in Hollywood. Hope not! By the way, I thought he looked happiest with Olivia, and I do hope that they get back together, but maybe it just didn't work?

LetUsPrey · 11/03/2012 19:59

Welcome sloppygirl! I agree with everything you said apart from the bit about Olivia because we try not to let reality intrude.

Agree that as well as looking incredible, his intelligence and wit make him even more attractive.

So DH just said to me "Are you watching MOTD2 later?" Given the results, yes I am I say.

He then says "Do you want to watch one of the hour long Sherlocks before it's on?" I nearly fell off my chair. It's a good job I had my back to him. Told him only the pilot was an hour but - very very casually - said we could watch the pilot if he wants or one of the other episodes if he wants although there wouldn't be time. Smoooooooth.

Then I told him that there are probably extras on the discs and we could watch those! So, we'll watch those after the DC are in bed if he remembers. To remind him may look suspicious and I have to play it cool because Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy should be on Sky soon.

Love how casual we are all trying to be about our obsession interest. I mentioned to DH that I had signed up to be notified when the Frankenstein screenings were happening - 'Oh, I don't mind which I go to see although I have to see BC as Frankenstein rather than in hideous Creature make-up'

and he said I could go to see both if I liked

Being an English teacher really pays off cos it's like work, isn't it, going to see Frankenstein? Research and whatnot.

LetUsPrey · 11/03/2012 22:03

Very Envy that I won't get to a Frankenstein screening as don't have one near enough.

No idea how I manage to remain calm ish in front of DH re BC. Especially when you consider what's going on in my head!

Have spent weekend slathering over drooling over fantasising over watching To The Ends Of The Earth (still available on YouTube: )

OH commented 'Didn't think you liked Golding' (not that he would known Golding from Enid Blyton - this is a man who once announced in a pub quiz that Tolkein wrote Lord of the Flies)

Quick as a flash, I replied that, whether I like Golding or not, it is literature, and that it was preparation for a class - good old research.

Well, IAmSherlocked , I hope this line of defence works better for you than it did for me. Thick as a brick though OH may be when it comes to the written word, even he couldn't spot the flaw in the argument. 'But you teach Adult Literacy. Don't you think this might be a bit beyond them?'

TheAddict · 12/03/2012 05:05

I meant, of course, even he couldn't fail to spot the flaw in the argument

Can't think what was distracting me - much ....Wink

LetUsPrey · 12/03/2012 08:13

Don't forget the Arena programme on Saturday on BBC2 and BBC HD re William Golding. To further aid your research of course. I've already got it set to record.
