They have been down a bit but I thought/think it's because I've not been telling anyone about my posts Hmm

PetiteRaleuse · 28/09/2011 14:13

Updated sooner than planned due to request so if you are wondering do boys cry

MmeGuillotine · 28/09/2011 15:41

Today's post is about my love for The House of Eliott.

My blog is on a bit of a hiatus at the moment as I've just started writing my fourth novel and it's sucking my will to write anything else out of me at the moment.

MmeLindor. · 28/09/2011 15:53

Petite
I RTed your blog, but have not yet commented on it. Will do when I get the chance, agree with you (as usual)

PetiteRaleuse · 28/09/2011 16:01

Thx MmeL

Angel786 · 28/09/2011 16:50

Pyjamas have commented :-)

Angel786 · 28/09/2011 16:53

Mme am a little behind, just seen the Saudi post - wow.

pyjamasinbananas · 28/09/2011 16:56

The Saudi post shocked me! It's so surreal that this actually goes on. Puts into perspective the things that wind us up about England really.

Thanks for commenting! I get all excited when I get the 'you have a comment' email!

Cinnamon123 · 28/09/2011 16:58

I have started my Christmas list already and have come across the the politics of buying presents.

queenmaeve · 28/09/2011 17:03

my mummy confessions

overmydeadbody · 28/09/2011 17:16

Just wrote another blog post, about my favourite beach, Holkham

pyjamasinbananas · 28/09/2011 17:17

The mummy confessions were hilarious!

overmydeadbody · 28/09/2011 17:22

MmeLindt did I tell you I grew up in Saudi? It used to make me so mad, the injustice and unfairness of women not being able to drive, and it would make my mum even madder. It really is crazy.

MmeGuillotine · 28/09/2011 17:28

The incident in Saudi makes me want to have driving lessons and try to get my license. I've started to feel a bit grim about having to always get lifts from my husband, like an errant teen and this just makes me feel even grimmer.

JoanneMallon · 28/09/2011 17:58

I have thrilling news of new Playmobil , and a whole bunch of posts about social media, if that's your bag.

MmeLindor. · 28/09/2011 18:42

Working my way through your posts.

MmeG
You really should learn to drive. I didn't until I was about 26yo and could not believe what a difference it made to my life. Just being able to jump in the car and go - freedom.

MmeGuillotine · 28/09/2011 18:59

I have dyspraxia so have never been sure how safe I would be. I used to drive an old Citroen around the estate when I was growing up but have never actually driven on a public road.

I've heard though that some instructors will take on people with dypraxia although I may only be able to drive an automatic. I'll look into it a bit more and see.

MmeLindor. · 28/09/2011 19:23

It would be worth finding out, MmeG. You can take a few lessons and see if you enjoy it, you don't have to commit yourself.

I didn't know you had dyspraxia.

MmeLindor. · 28/09/2011 19:44

Joanne
I have commented on your blog, and am following you on Twitter .

breadfortheboys · 28/09/2011 19:47

MmeG I have a friend with dyspraxia - he has his licence but doesn't like driving much. Maybe worth getting in case of emergency?

MmeGuillotine · 28/09/2011 20:28

Mme, I try not to talk about it and The Other Thing because I don't want people to pre-judge me.

I wasn't a bad driver when I was let loose in fields as a teenager but, like I said, I don't know what I would be like on a road. Weirdly, I often dream that I am driving so perhaps it won't be so bad. I get flustered very easily so am not sure I'd find it very enjoyable.

Tbh, I'm mostly only thinking about it because my 6yo asks on a weekly basis why I don't drive a car 'like all the other mummies'. I'm embarrassing apparently... ;)

FlamingoBingo · 28/09/2011 21:14

Pirates - I read and commented on your post :) Well done!

Misdee - glad to find more sling-addicts! Grin

MmeLindor - have tweeted/FBd etc. Very important issue.
