Please help me to not be irritated by her acceptance speech at the Emmy's. Please lovely kind and generous MN darlings. She makes me break out in hives. She was very nice about her mum though, despite it sounding a bit pukey. See, I am trying to be happy for her.

I see she is now going out with Richard Bransons nephew after they hit it off on Necker Island after the fire. He sounds like a right knob as he has changed his name to Ned Rocknroll!

And since when has Kate Winslet been 36?? She's always been my age until recently (43!).

I have no idea why or how I came across this useless piece of info but the nephew/ boyfriend changed his name from Abel Smith to Ned Rocknroll

Nope, she's always said she was born in '75. Same as me - we even married the same year therefore at the same age. Kate W, Ant & Dec, Kate Moss and me. A fine set

I'm normally quite bitchy about acceptance speeches, but I just watched hers and what was wrong? Short enough, thanked others, not too self indulgent....It looked like she made it up on the spot after a few drinks.

sfxsmum I was reading about his name change in Grazia. With a surname like Rocknroll I don't see a long term future for their relationship. I'd honk with laughter if I met someone who'd done that.

The sad thing about the name change is that his surname was Smith before! Sounds like he had a chip on his shoulder...

Everything about her is annoying.

I hate false modesty in luvvies. I also think she's an over rated actress.
