I've only just noticed this thread - I posted yesterday on the 'latest posts' thread in a fit of enthusiasm. My blog is here.

Lovely to see all the interesting blogs here; I'm reading thread on IPod so will have a proper look at everyone's links later.

Also looking forward to learning that secret handshake if/when my approval comes through Grin

Hi I have just joined too, bit nervous as I haven't written a blog before. It is going to be about money saving, time saving for the busy mum. so far this year if you work the savings out over the whole year I have saved myself £1600

Newbabynewmum · 14/06/2011 21:31

Hi! I've just written my first blog - meandtabbyb.blogspot.com/ - sorry I don't know how to link.

It's about being a single mum. That it's better than people assume it is. Also it's about my parenting style - positive & co-sleeping.

Also it's better than it sounds! Thanks xx

Overreactionoftheweek · 15/06/2011 23:35

Hi - I'm new to blogging, only just created mine today and have applied to become part of the network. Mine is about becoming a mum for the first time and all that is involved in that...but I think it will just be about life in general to be honest - only one post so far introducing myself!

I promise to try and be more interesting soon Wink

here's the blog
Adventures of a First Time Mum

would welcome any advice/tips from those of you who have been doing this longer, thanks.

Hello Mumsnet!

I started a blog for my son who was born 2 months premature. It has helped me gather my thoughts and to keep people updated. It is written from his perspective so is light hearted.

I now blog daily and spend too much time reading other people's blogs!
Please stop by and say "Hello" to my son Felix.

Hi all, I've been with my blog since 2009, but in the last year have been taking it quite seriously. My blog is called Food, Football and a Baby. Its mainly a food blog, with a few memories thrown in for good measure. I cook all kinds of food, but mainly Indian. I refuse to talk about football until my team (Arsenal FC) actually win a trophy (yes, I realise that might be a while Wink)

We recently moved from the UK to Canada, so its been a bit of a distraction while I cope with my new life as well.

Hope you enjoy it, and I am looking forward to checking out your blogs.

ProfYaffle · 28/06/2011 09:09

Hello! I've just been accepted into the network. My blog Norfolk Kitchen has been going for a couple of years now which rather worryingly brings me to the end of the 2 year lifecycle which is, apparently, typical for blogs.

Still, things have evolved. I've gone from supplementing my tiny back yard veg crop with foraged foods to taking on 2 allotments and am about to embark on a community pig rearing project so hopefully I've got plenty of new material to work with.

butterflyexperience · 28/06/2011 10:55

Wow, lots of new blogs to look at!

Hello everyone. I'm stitch this. Crafty waffle and yowling about various narky niggles. Highbrow it is not. Grin

knockinonyerdoor · 04/07/2011 14:41

Hi all! I'm aytishwho.

Mostly about cats, allergies and weird diets, with the odd post about family. (Maybe that should read "the occasional post about our odd family" Grin)

RuthGledhill · 04/07/2011 17:56

Hi I would just like to introduce myself as one of the new Mumsnet bloggers. My new blog is at www.goddessofsmallthings.com

I've been a member of Mumsnet for years but I must confess to lurking more than contributing, for which I now apologise! It is just I seem to have so little time!!!

TottWriter · 07/07/2011 21:15

Hello, just got my acceptance e-mail from MN, though I'm not on their A-Z yet. Mine is Hardwired for Malfunction

It's mostly epilepsy-related, with forays into the complications of having epilepsy and small children, and the odd rant here and there.

moominthecorner · 07/07/2011 22:24

Ive bookmarked you tott

strawberry17 · 08/07/2011 07:46

How long do they take to accept you? and do they let you know if they are NOT going to accept you?

Violet5 · 08/07/2011 12:51

I've just started a new blog shadesofvioletblog.wordpress.com/ , just filled out the reg form on here.
It's called Shades of Violet as a nod to my MN name.
It will mostly be about family life with 6 children, 2 of whom have disabilities, one has extensive global brain damage and quadriplecic CP, the other GDD, Speech & Language disorder & hypertonia. It will probably end up being a bit of a mish mash of whatever's going on in our life.

NomNomNom · 12/07/2011 09:44

I've just been accepted to the MN bloggers network, this is my blog: attachedmummy.wordpress.com

It all seems like quite a good idea so far, I've found quite a few really interesting blogs so far.

I'm also on twitter as @attachedmummy, I think I'm already following some of you.

I got my first offer of free stuff in exchange for a review recently, and while I don't think I'll do it (not aiming to be that kind of blog), I must say I'm a tiny bit intrigued. How does everyone else handle this? Is there a catch? My blog isn't even that huge, so I was really surprised that someone would send me stuff for free just for putting a link and a review on my blog. Shock

TheMadHouse · 04/08/2011 08:30

Morning all. I am not sure if any of you remember me, but I am and was a bit of a Flyer in the past and Mumsnet was there for me during dark, dark days (double mastectomy) about 4 years ago. I have been blogging for a while and just been accepted on to the network, so thought I would put my blog up here for all to see. It is The Mad House, which was my MN name and after that it was TeaMonster

MmeGuillotine · 04/08/2011 10:46

Hello! I've just been allowed to join in here - I applied ages ago and had assumed that they'd rejected me or something! :)

My blog is at [http://madameguillotine.org.uk]. It's mostly about art, history, fashion and writing.
