The Chicken Chronicles Ooh, I have only just spotted this and applied to be added to the network. Although if you're not interested in chickens, my blog will bore the arse off you.

butterflyexperience · 27/04/2011 17:25

Great blog chickens!

Hello all.

I think I follow most of the blogs on here already, but will check.

Just noticed that MNHQ have a Bloggers Network button. Does that mean we can put that on our blogs?

I did join BMB a while back but found I did not have time for another forum, alongside MN, Twitter and FB.

MmeLindt · 02/05/2011 13:12

ChocOrange
Just caught up on your blog - exciting times in your house. And your DS is doing great with the potty training.

Butterfly
Have you changed the design of the blog? Looks great. Sorry to hear about your Grandmother.

Tee
love the pic of your DS covered in cupcake, so cute.

And I forgot to link to mine here

J4stJess · 02/05/2011 19:34

I've just started blogging yesterday and applied to join the network. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and you getting to know me. Really want to find some people who share similar experiences to me. Find my blog on mumsnet.com/blogs/j4stjess/

MmeLindt · 02/05/2011 22:02

Jess
I tried to leave a comment, but couldn't so will post this here:

Great first post.

I felt the same a few years ago, from what I have seen of my friends it is not uncommon. At some point we emerge from what I call the MummyCocoon and have to decide, What's next?

Tee2072 · 02/05/2011 22:28

I completely forgot about this. Has anyone heard from MNHQ about being approved or not for the network?

Summer2008 · 02/05/2011 23:22

Hi, I am very new to blogging and it's nice to come somewhere where others are bloggers also. Xx wwwethanandhismama.blogspot.com

MmeLindt · 03/05/2011 07:48

Tee
No, not heard. I assume that they set this up when the new look website was revealed but are not actually up and running with the blog part.

Hello Summer. Your little boy is gorgeous.

butterflyexperience · 03/05/2011 08:11

MmeLindt - It does look better with the new theme, easier to read, and thank you for your condolences.

Tee - Your paella recipe looks yum! I have never made it but am willing to give it ago!

Choc - I like your blog theme, and potty training can be stressful but you seem to have it all under control.

Jess - I do understand how you feel, and this is why I am reinventing myself through jewellery design. I write about my experiences on my blog.

Summer - I'm unable to open your link, could you repost please

Lots of great blogs!

overmydeadbody · 03/05/2011 08:15

Ooh this is exciting! I have to go to work now but will look at all your blogs when I get home.

In the meantime, my blog, is here:

So Resourceful

I am aiming to complete 111 projects in 2011, in order to motivate me to actually finish all the things I start, and I'm up to project 47 already Grin

butterflyexperience · 03/05/2011 08:26

Jess - I have just tried to post a comment on your blog but am not able to for some reason get past the authentication bit.

OP posts:
BecauseImWorthIt · 03/05/2011 08:28

I quite like the idea of starting a blog. But I have no idea what I'd really blog about!

How much time do you lot spend blogging? And is it going to impinge on my MN/Twitter time?!

butterflyexperience · 03/05/2011 08:31

OMDB - You are so creative!
One of my goals for this year is to learn to sew so I can make my DD's pretty things like your summer hat

OP posts:
butterflyexperience · 03/05/2011 08:33

Imworthit - If you have stuff to say on MN and Twitter you will defenitly find subjects to Blog about Grin

Take a look at some of the blogs listed on here to get ideas

OP posts:
MmeLindt · 03/05/2011 08:34

I had a problem with Summer's url too. There is no . after the www

BIWI
You should, I would love to read your blog. Have you been following Threadies?

I could not post a comment on Jess's blog either.

cyberfairy · 03/05/2011 08:41

I love So Resourceful-meant to be so crafty on maternity leave but am struggling to even type this with a struggling escaping baby in arms..
Mine is about places in the north...unicycle-emptiness.co.uk/

butterflyexperience · 03/05/2011 08:46

cyberfairy - I think most of us with babies thought life at home would mean lots of baking and crafting

In reality it's more about getting to grips with sleep deprivaton and endless nappy changes.

Anyone remember the cherry man love blog?

OP posts:
cyberfairy · 03/05/2011 08:57

What was the cherry man love blog? I have made one mobile in four months and managed to do some one handed typing on blog-not quite started that book as struggle to remember my name at times...Going to look up some of the other blogs here now instead of vacuuming Smile

MmeLindt · 03/05/2011 09:02

Cyberfairy
I love your blog, it is fantastic. Great pics, interesting and very well written.

I have a lot more time now that the DC are in school and only started blogging when we moved to Switzerland.
