What are the best items your two year old received? What did they love to play with most when 2? DD also has a birthday close to Christmas so will have a lot at once and want stuff that will entertain her until 3!

Following as a second child DD.

I think she will get a balance bike, umbrella, bath bombs, Hey Duggee bath toy and maybe an awful looking baby shark dance mat.

I have 2 dds who were into different things at 2 but both have enjoyed our play kitchen and a range of accessories (smoothie maker, mixer, cookie baking set, shopping basket, cutting fruit, tea set etc) - I really recommend Melissa and doug sets and jojo manam bebe have some nice sets in atm as well

Dd1 was very into duplo at that age (and still is at 5), and dressing up outfits, mainly Disney princesses

Dd2 is dolly made so dolls pram, high chair, changing bag, an array of dolls and feeding sets have all been bit hits

They have both also liked vet and doctor sets play sets and a little carry case for their soft toys

They both got interested in schleich animals, farm, safari and sea at around 2.5

Oh yes I second the easel suggestion and lots of stickers, glitter glues and paint pens. Dd nearly 3 loves attaching her magic painting books to it and being an artist

Duplo, toy kitchen and new books. I also think tempting as it is, it’s important not to buy too much as they easily get overwhelmed quite easily.
