I train to high/high intensity minimum 6 days a week, across 9 sessions. I've done many extreme events. Will move meetings at work/social events to train. AMA ?

And to the op, or there it is about following a very restricted eating regime and not being able to waiver. Not about exercise.

@sub20min5km

“My BMI is normal between 18-20% body fat. ”

That’s not how BMI is measured. Why did you avoid the question?

What one thing would you say changed your level of fitness for good? I ve taken up running but feel totally demotivated right now and just can't seem to get fit enough to get back to where I was in May.

@PaddyF0dder bmi is in the normal range. Not avoiding the question, I just don't think it's a reliable unit of measurement. Professional rugby players are considered obese. Due to height weight ratio.

@mummyrocks1 HIIT training and hills/intervals while running.
And to whoever asked events are a hobby not a profession.

You do you but it all sounds very regimented. You do the same even on holiday. You make your kids go to the gym with you or parkrun even if they didn't want to. Do you ever decide not to do it? To just have a lazy day? Have a lie in?
What happens if you get sick or injured? You seem to place a lot of your happiness on your exercise regime.

mummyrocks1 · 23/08/2019 22:44

I admire your motivation, I can't seem to get that love of exercise and motivate myself for long periods.

How often do you suggest doing the interval training? Once a week at the moment but doubt that's making much difference

How do you think you would cope if you could not exercise. I swim regularly but would not say I am addicted but I had to take a 2 week break because of a nasty burn and I tell you I was climbing the walls. I have a stressful job that felt a lot more stressful without my swim. Now I am back and feel centred and better able to cope with stress. Got me thinking what would I do if I could not exercise.
