How we tested the SENSSE Professional LED Face Mask
This mask has been used weekly since Christmas by Christine, who describes her skin as combination skin with eczema, acne, redness, and dark spots.
She’d never tried LED therapy before, but she uses serums and moisturisers regularly and was willing to dedicate 15 minutes a day to see if it could make a difference.
“I use the mask once a day for 15 minutes on the auto mode, which cycles through all the colours,” she explains. “It’s become part of my routine – I usually put it on while watching TV.”
How does the SENSSE LED face mask work and what skin concerns does it target?
The mask uses four clinically-backed light wavelengths to treat a range of concerns:
Red (630nm): Anti-ageing, skin repair
Blue (460nm): Acne and excess oil
Yellow (605nm): Lymphatic drainage, elasticity, brightening
Purple/NIR: Combines red, blue and near-infrared for overall skin rejuvenation
“I’ve definitely seen less redness and my acne has improved. Even some fine lines have softened,” Christine says.
After just four weeks she reported smoother skin texture and a more even tone, which aligns with the brand’s claims of visible results in under a month.

What's included and how comfortable is it to wear?
Inside the box, you’ll find the soft silicone face mask, straps to secure it, and a charging cable. The build quality is impressive, with 270 LEDs positioned close to the skin for better light penetration (0.3–1 cm — closer than most competitors).
“It fits well and feels lightweight, but the padding around the eyes is a little uncomfortable,” Christine notes.
Despite that, she found the overall fit secure and the silicone moulds nicely to the face, meaning light is distributed evenly across the skin.
