It's so maddening, I remember as a young lesbian in the early 1990s picking up my copy of the Pink Paper every week to find out what was going on. And yes, there's a lot of misogyny amongst gay men, that's why I hate drag so much, the whole "ugly lesbians" thing that wasn't uncommon then, or men just thinking that we were in the way of them being able to practice their sexuality unfettered in clubs and bars.

Yes that absolutely disgusted me. Owen Jones once joked on twitter about looking for 'broody lesbians' to be his surrogate.

I know that misogyny is more common in the gay community than many straight women want to admit, but it's still horrible to see it flaunted so blatantly.

I wonder if any of our resident MRA’s will have anything to say on this seeing as this seems to be their news outlet of all that is good and truthful and holy and the owners are seen as paragons of virtue in the face of such nasty hateful womenz

Finding out that people have been subjected to sexual abuse, workplace bullying and misogyny isn't really a cause for celebration. It's more wry smile territory.

This is the only bit I feel uneasy with, the BBC are desperate to point the finger at all other (rival) media outlets to divert attention away from what they themselves allow to happen behind the scenes.

I'm glad that this is being revealed, but also aware of the BBC's intentions.
