The quoted comments from the congresswoman are brilliant

First trans member lawmaker blasts GOP after bill blocks bathroom use

A trans war has broken out on Capitol Hill after a Republican lawmaker proposed a measure to block transgender women from using biological women's restrooms in the U.S. Capitol.

Why did the anti-trans government put it in the law then?

Why is it even on the table?

It is absolutely vile and degrading to young girls, and yet not a peep from any of you.

Please quote the part of the act demanding genital inspections

Untrue.

In 2011 alone over 4000 breast surgeries were done in the US on girls under the age of 18.

How many were done last year?
how many were like chloe Cole?
Also I said no REASONABLE dr would do so, considering the amount of malpractice claims amongst cosmetic surgeons in the US is anyone surprised that 13 years ago 4000 children were harmed by dodgy drs

So, now it’s known that genital inspections of children in sport have never happened, can you move on from “genital inspections”?

334bu · 20/11/2024 07:10

I consider trans rights to overlap with women's rights and fighting for one does not negate the other.

How does exposing young girls to male genitalia in their showers, changing rooms.etc achieve that?

Snowypeaks · 20/11/2024 07:09

PinkChesnut · 20/11/2024 07:07

All women means all women.

In other words, you do include male people.
Why does male people's desire for validation trump women's rights to privacy, dignity and safety?

nolongersurprised · 20/11/2024 07:09

PinkChesnut · 20/11/2024 06:41

You might find support for "no men in women's sports!!!" Until that means 15 year old girls are having their genitals inspected before they can play sports.

See Florida.

How is this harm reductive?

You said this. This isn’t happening.

NotBadConsidering · 20/11/2024 07:08

PinkChesnut · 20/11/2024 07:00

Please try to focus.

Florida's republican government put into law that, in order to protect girls from boys in sports, that they could be ordered to submit to a genital exam to confirm they are girls.

If a cheek swab is enough, why would this be written into law? It's vile.

As nolongersurprised says, “physical exam” is not genital exam. You seem confused as to how male DSDs are confirmed.

nolongersurprised · 20/11/2024 07:07

PinkChesnut · 20/11/2024 07:05

Why don't you post the law? Does the law allow for a genital inspection or not?

And if not, does it clearly outline that girls will not be subject to this disgusting violation of their dignity and privacy?

I’m not the one staring there’s need for mandatory genital inspections 😀

PinkChesnut · 20/11/2024 07:07

Hoardasurass · 20/11/2024 07:05

Do you count transwomen as women in that "all women " answer or not

All women means all women.

Why would they even include a genital exam, then?

A mystery. Possibly because they are monsters and not interested in protecting girls at all.

Why don’t you post the law and the part about mandatory genital inspections?

PinkChesnut · 20/11/2024 07:03

nolongersurprised · 20/11/2024 07:02

You haven’t read the law, have you?

The fact you can't criticize the law providing for intimate exams on children is telling.

Anything in service of hurting the transes!

Any person who advocates for the medical transition of minor children , who is happy for male rapists to be put in cells with female prisoners and who will force women to share dressing rooms, sleeping accomodation and toilets with men, all to affirm some mens's desire to be treated as the opposite sex is not worthy of respect.

If I cared about garnering your respect, I would not be here.

Snowypeaks · 20/11/2024 07:01

I am against the need for a law about the issue.

Since the social contract has been broken by males who claim to be women and their allies, and some states have ensured that women cannot have single sex toilets (or any ss facilities or spaces), legislation is in practice the only remaining option to ensure that women's rights to privacy, dignity and safety are upheld.
You have confirmed that you don't think these human rights are important when it comes to women.

You also imply that women are not a discrete category separate from, and with different needs to male people. Recognition of women as a sex class is fundamental to our human rights. So perhaps it's fair to say that you don't care about women's rights.

PinkChesnut · 20/11/2024 07:01

nolongersurprised · 20/11/2024 06:59

If you read the law, there were a range of non-invasive ways of girls proving their sex (if necessary). Why do you latch on “physical exam”, call it “genital inspection” and insist it’s mandatory, when it’s not?

What’s degrading about providing a birth certificate?

Why would they even include a genital exam, then?

A mystery. Possibly because they are monsters and not interested in protecting girls at all.

OMG that’s not how control of medical intervention works! Puberty blockers will not be banned for precocious puberty if they get banned for body dysphoria. Are you really happy to post from a position of such ignorance?

I know how the US gov works.
