People like the Baroness are such an amazing example of why we need a HOL. Not the hereditary ones or those gifted as part of a payoff package for services rendered, but full of people with a lifetime of wisdom and experience ( Note to Boris Johnson this does not mean mid twenties blonde interns who you have the hots for)

That last paragraph is wonderful!

I mean the whole letter is a hoot, but the last paragraph need to be embroidered on a banner and hung over every women’s public toilet in the country.

Maybe she's at the stage (like many of us) that the repeated incursions of men into women's spaces now arouse derision and sarcasm as we're all out of outrage?
