I don't have a problem with an organisation encouraging women to speak for basic fairness in sport tbh.

No one is asking for names @Christinapple.

Organisations, teams. The ones who couldn't give a fuck if women are harmed.

Looks like they are by this tweet. They want to know everything by the looks of it.

Even if names aren't mentioned on the "map" FWS are making with this list (which I hope they will be fully compliant with the data protection act and the gender recognition act?) I have concerns even just saying what specific teams/clubs have trans people attending will easily allow anyone to track them down and put them in danger.

This is a gold mine for stalking forums like kiwifarms.

Another way of saying "email us who trans people are where they live"?

Is it legal to compile a list of people who have a specific protected characteristic without their knowledge or consent and their details to provide a "map" of them to the public? Will ForWomenScotland be complying with the Data Protection Act regarding this data?

Or is this something Police Scotland should be taking a look into? This sounds like a very dangerous doxxing witch hunt. People who contact them with information on trans people may also be committing a criminal offence.

It says teams, leagues and competitions. It's not asking for individuals names.

Rest assured though that we are going to ensure that not a single male is colonising female sport. We're not ever going to give up fighting against the unfairness and safety risk females are being exposed to.

That's great.
It's important to protect women from having to compete with blokes in their own sports!
This is one area with so little room for nuances most men agree too.

They are not asking for specific names of the men infiltrating the women's sports, just for the teams that are allowing it to happen.
