Children protesting at DfE

What absolute brats.
Fingers crossed a few nights on the streets might show them what it actually means to ‘feel unsafe’.

Love the point about external validation, that’s exactly what this is all about but from their side!

'People who are unaffected by us' is the sentence before telling everyone they must alter their language and abandon their understanding of sex and take down their boundaries and protections..

I think they should be doing extra classes with a tutor rather than camping on the streets of London talking gibberish.

I imagine there are only 3 or 4 who stay overnight and they would probably be older kids (18s?). Having said that from the video's they do seem to be predominantly female, although I doubt they identify that way, so possibly vulnerable from random men.

I'm also confused about what their message is and why they are at the DfE as no guidance has been issued yet. No civil servant would throw out all the consultation responses because of some flag waving youths outside the building.

Why are parents not accompanying them if they wish to sleep on the streets.

I mean Kirsty annoying woman off the telly was reported to social services for allowing her 15 year old to go inter railing.

These kids are asking for random adults their parents don't know to 'look after' them.

There should be a bunch of social service referrals going on here.

There are homeless children in London who are constantly unsafe. Who know you sleep during the day in busy places & hope for the fecking best. How have they got a whole gang of them there & no watch system of their own? What use is an adult or two going to be? 🙄 Absolute selfishness & potentially they’re diverting resources from people who actually need them - eg technically the Night Stars don’t work that area but what’s the betting someone’s been detailed to babysit?

Where are these children's parents?

Starting perhaps with who watches the watchers...I hope there's some police in the vicinity.
