@Helleofabore

What side is that then? I don’t use kiwi farms as a resource, but now I am really interested what the fuck you use as a resource considering what you have been posting on another thread that you believe is ‘plausible’. Because it doesn’t seem to be an accurate resource that provides information, it seems to be regurgitated opinion from self identified opinion leaders who don’t seem to understand the information they are broadcasting fully formed opinions on.

I just said "whatever that is"? It certainly isn't far right.

And how superior of you to suggest my thoughts are regurgitated opinions from inaccurate sources. Are you my teacher? No? Then any essay-writing critiques are best kept to yourself, please.

The claim it’s “life-saving” makes it even worse, somehow. The NHS is in absolute bits. Treating severe burns? That’s life-saving plastics work. Doing a cystectomy & creating a urostomy for someone with bladder cancer: saving lives in urology.

I am enraged the NHS funds this under the banner of “life-saving care” when some people have to move from one UK country to another to get cancer treatment (depending on where drug funded). The NHS doesn’t supply wheelchairs to meet people’s clinical needs (as assessed by them) & people are paying money they don’t have because they’re in agony & increasingly immobile as they need a new hip & can’t cope with waiting another 2-3 years. People are having to pay for things without which they physically cannot function - even if it’s “just” topping up continence supplies - but the NHS has for some reason jumped on board with experimental surgery that will inevitably cause complications & require multiple revisions.

Put the money into improving gender services so people get proper therapy; so accurate records are kept; & - vitally - detransitioners can be treated. The NHS can’t fund everything & it has no bloody business funding experimental surgeries that are so staggeringly destructive.

Excellent post. Thanks.

I've read comments elsewhere from women pointing out that the trans privilege movement is itself right wing. Authoritarian, violent, racist, male supremacist ... they have a point, so virtue signalling about how GC women must be purer than pure just makes me roll my eyes.

@OldCrone

Is the hate and bilge on this sign from the far right?

As said to Hellofabore, most commonly the hate and bilge on the fruitfarms comes from the far right - meaning, most but not all.

Of course that sign isn't acceptable.

Caliga · 20/08/2024 07:45

And there you are.

I'm fairly happy that "my side" (whatever that is) doesn't use fruitfarms as a useful source. But whatever you think, necessary.

Hilarious.

I do like this one. The Left is making me do it!

It's not. It's just you.

Me, making cookies for the next rally and it’s all because you can’t help yourself, Caligula.

No. That's a classic response - "You just think it's far right because you think it's horrible". It encompasses all the hate and bilge that can't be expressed on the usual sites. This hostility and ideology stems most commonly from the far right. Sorry.

That's a Far Left move.

KeirSpoutsTwaddle · 20/08/2024 07:41

To be fair, I’m moving further right with every post that certain folk here make. The more people try and tell me what I’m allowed to think and say, the more right wing I seem to get. I feel as though I’m being pushed right despite my inclinations

I'm apparently a nazi because I go out, have coffee and cake with people who moved to the region I live any time in the last 40 years, and ask people about themselves.

So yes I do have to ask what they mean exactly!

Guys, stop telling me off, it’s counterproductive!

Because it seems people think Far Right is anything they don't like.

If you accuse someone or something of being Far Right, then we are going to need to know what it is you are talking about.

What is Far Right about a website that archives material across the whole of the internet? I don't get why, which is why I am asking.

We get called Far Right now for not wanting kids and vulnerable adults mutilated, sterilised and ultimately, dead. Which is the opposite of Far Right.

So either define your terms or stop calling anyone you don't like Far Right.

I saw this the other day and it seems apt.

Until Caligula can explain the relevance of their comment to Griffin’s appalling experience, there’s no point engaging.

Kiwi farms was raised not as a place to hang out for fun and cake recipes but as a place to find out about Griffin. And there were warnings aplenty about the nature of the site.

I suggest, Caligula, you set up a similar site where dark things can be documented and preserved, and make it nice and politically left and cosy. Let us know when it’s ready and we’ll tell people all about it. We’ll even help stock it with the stuff other people try and hide.

Honestly, I’m as far from a conspiracy theorist as you can get but when the farms holds the truth and google is suppressing truth, I start to sound a lot like one. Fun times.

Helleofabore · 20/08/2024 06:42

Quite necessary, quite.

So we need a definition of ‘far right’, of what constitutes ‘hate and bilge’ and what are the ‘usual sites’. Otherwise it is all hyperbolic and a false generalisation (despite the attempt to distract using ‘most commonly’)

It is almost like a poster has wandered in off a site that is an echo chamber where such a statement would be just affirmed and supported rather than challenged because of that hyperbole and false confidence displayed while ‘calling out’ posters.

WarriorN · 20/08/2024 06:37

Since when are safeguarding concerns far right?

Nice little authoritarian derail.

NecessaryScene · 20/08/2024 06:27

I guess you can argue that right-wing "hate and bilge" is most commonly "not on the usual sites" because left-wing hate and bilge is tolerated "on the usual sites". You can spew hatred about JKR and "terfs" as much as you like on Reddit etc.

So "far right" coule be "hate and bilge that doesn't align with our hate and bilge". I think.

Except even then, it ends up stretched to "anything we would censor on the usual sites, even if it's not hate and bilge", such as advocating for women's rights, or the archiving of SRS disasters over at KF.

"Far right" is then just stuff that "can't be expressed on the usual sites". Totally disconnected from the original "hate and bilge" justification.

Plus note that the "usual sites" are defined as the highly censorious and authoritarian anti-free-speech ones. Sure, keep telling yourself you're the Good Guys.

Helleofabore · 20/08/2024 06:06

Helleofabore · 20/08/2024 05:55

And I disagreed that it is most commonly. Your premise for making the statement was false from the very start. Trying to mitigate the degree by saying ‘most commonly’ doesn’t make it any more valid.

You were the one ‘calling out’ posters, by the way.

”It encompasses all the hate and bilge that can't be expressed on the usual sites. This hostility and ideology stems most commonly from the far right.”

This is the statement that I disagree with by the way. It shows a heavily biased and blinkered viewpoint considering the activities of those who consider themselves to be left wing wish can be said to be just as filled with hate and bilge, hostile and ideological.

Helleofabore · 20/08/2024 05:58

Caliga · 20/08/2024 05:07

@AlisonDonut

Why not start with your definition of 'far right' so that we can see what it is you mean?

Why do you keep asking this question whenever someone brings up the far right? You know what it is. You just don't what it discussed, right?

No. We have no problem discussing ‘far right’ politics. However, because we have seen so many posters make the accusations of people who are not ‘far right’ at all. Therefore, the term becomes meaningless unless you wish to clarify the definition you are using.

’Far right’ and ‘fascist’ gets thrown around all too easily in attempts to silence, shame and discredit.

Helleofabore · 20/08/2024 05:55

Caliga · 20/08/2024 04:28

@Helleofabore

Hardly. I think you are under some pretty heavy bias there.

“Hostility and ideology stems” from left wing beliefs as well. You have pretty much just proved that poster’s point with your blinkered and overly simplistic reaction.

Did you read "most commonly" in my post, or did you just skip that in your haste to call me out?
