I drive past Wickes these days and shop in b&q instead. Also have Screwfix, tool station, Topps tiles, Selco, Howdens and Homebase to choose from so will never need to spend any money in Wickes ever again. They don't miss me and likewise I don't miss them.

Yep. I can almost spit as far as those stores from my local Wickes so no problem that they don't want me

I haven't been back in since. I mean seriously if I was one of their Board Directors I would not be best pleased with Chief Exec. #prat Such a stupid thing to have done. Yes he is allowed his own PERSONAL views, but to have associated that with company values. No.

Further to their rank misogyny, their products are terrible quality, designed to break or fail and putting even more burden on nature.
For that alone they should fail.
We put up with utter crap in this country.

Oh yes they did, and I was about to buy a new kitchen from them. I didnt bother, I went to b and q instead. Also stonewalled but not as nuts as wickes.

I guess the plan was for all the non bigots to shop in wickes more. I guess that plan failed. I'll never go in wickes again, and if b and q come out with such nonsense I wont go there either. And the rest.

Was hoping they had gone bust, never mind, soon hopefully.

This bigot had already dumped them over their dire kitchen service. They were just dreadful so these results are no surprise.

I went to B&Q instead of Wickes recently. Getting quite a lot done this year. Probably also stonewalled, but I don't think they've said anything as crazy as Wickes did.
