Well I'd never actually considered either option, but I think it should be one for each year.

I'll just go order another 5 boxes but I'll have eaten the ones I've got by the time they arrive, so best make it 6 boxes.

Changing the arrangement so he nicks the chilli ones won't have any effect. Birds don't have the pain receptors anywhere in their digestive system for capsaicins. But that looks like pickled onion Monster Munch, truly a God amongst snacks. Clever girl!
