Whilst the gerbils got on with making and designing t shirts for their adoring fans Grimbut, who was supposed to be doing the invoices, was sidetracked thinking about the next chapter in her epic book of gerbilness.

@RoyalCorgi on the Corpus 2 thread in Site Stuff Justine said on 10th July that MN had sent a pre-action letter informing Aston "..of our plans to issue legal proceedings due to unacceptable breaches of our terms of use and infringement of database copyrights."

On the "Legal action against OpenAI and other scrapers" thread, on 19th July, she said,
"We're awaiting a response from Aston to our legal letter of complaint."

I have a serious question - did anybody else hear Justine on the radio the other day talking about why Mumsnet is suing Open AI for scraping Mumsnet data to use in their models? I wondered if they might be considering suing Aston too.
