Offensive stickering

Saw this posted on Ovarit. Can anyone confirm if this is a real sticker sold by KJK and SFW? Awful messaging if so. Hoping it's some TRA hoax.

NSPCC who tells children it is only sexual abuse if they don’t like it?

🙄
Yep. Noone is good enough at safeguarding children apart from randoms on MN/TwiX and grassroots volunteer orgs. Everyone else is a groomer.

Honestly, get a grip.

Grooming:

the practice of preparing or training someone for a particular purpose or activity.

Sending rapists to women's prisons, outright lying that a woman has been raped in hospital, dismantling all women's spaces. All this permitted by state run organisations.

Thousands and thousands of adults with responsibility have been groomed to push an ideology that has permitted the dangerous erasure of boundaries.

And now those who have been groomed, are actually teaching this shit to children in school.

Training them to believe it.

Girls are being groomed to accept men in their private spaces.

the practice of preparing or training someone for a particular purpose or activity.
Bollocks

https://www.nspcc.org.uk/what-is-child-abuse/types-of-abuse/grooming/

Grooming is when someone builds a relationship, trust and emotional connection with a child or young person so they can manipulate, exploit and abuse them.

I think many posting on this thread have no experience of grooming.
I unfortunately was on the receiving end as a teenager, it was a process over a long period of time involving the abuser influencing family and friends as well myself,by someone who turned out to be a prolific abuser over decades and very practiced at it. Even when numerous victims came forward there were still people claiming he was falsely accused because teenage girls lie.

Showing children a picture of the gingerbread person is not grooming ffs. Get a different word because grooming means something, and it's not what you are saying.

Grooming children into an ideology that advocates castration isn't a form of sexual abuse?

I think possibly 'gaslighting' would be a better choice of word (not to say that adults are not also groomed). A woman was raped in an NHS 'women's' ward and the hospital denied it could have happened since there were no men on the ward. There was a TiM on the ward, who was the rapist - but the NHS insisted this man (TiM) was a woman. The NHS is captured.

Yes I agree what happened in that instance was gaslighting.
I hesitate to think that means all NHS trusts are "captured". That just seems unnecessarily hyperbolic based on one example.
But even if they were, how is stickering Pride flags going to help?

The government IS grooming kids and the gingerbread propaganda is grooming children. Grooming is not just about predatory sexual behaviours, it is about any harmful behaviours including grooming children by lessons that suggest they can change sex.

But in terms of predatory sexual behaviours, what could be more harmful than telling women and girls they do not have a right to exert boundaries and that doing so is hateful?

I disagree and I think it does a disservice to victims of grooming for sexual abuse to start using the term for teaching you disagree with.
It's a bit like the boy who cried wolf. If you call everything you don't like grooming, actual grooming gets ignored.

I'm really not sure where this tendency to talk about grooming all the time has come from. Seems to be a TwiX thing.

Cailin66 · 16/07/2024 17:09

I think it’s a great image, but I’d rather it was more clear on the pink trans part. I feel there is an assault on women’s rights. I wear a suffragette lanyard to work. And I bought a Terf coke bottle pin from KJK that I have on it.

I don’t think gay people are anti women, but I’m surprised at how many support trans over women, and over bodily integrity of minors.

Yes there's gaslighting too, I agree.

It's the training side of it that constitutes grooming to me. Teaching children to ignore sex. Not being able to identify men as men.

Like the training that went in the police, the NHS, schools.

You've only got to see how when it's been left unchecked in places like Canada, students will actually agree that a young man is an elderly Chinese woman of 4 foot 11.

In a, well everyone's identity is personal, and if that's what you say you are, then that's what you are, kind of way.

Grammarnut · 16/07/2024 16:56

Rhaidimiddim · 15/07/2024 14:18

You do realise that a lot of women are gay and that a lot of gay people are women. Because it sounds like you've forgotten that bit.

Those gay people who are women are among those being trampled by the LGBTQ+ progress flag. Many gay men see women as 'breeders' (even nice gay men, if you get them to talk freely, will say that heterosexual sex is only about making babies), which is why people like Elton John are pushing for greater freedom in using surrogates (that's women) to produce babies for gay couples (that's men).

I don't think the government are grooming children. That's what I said. Please don't strawman my reply.

Grooming has a specific meaning and diluting that meaning is unhelpful to all victims. So please don't spread made up definitions of grooming.

Those who claim to be gender critical, but don't like the Let Women Speak stickers, could always have their own stickers produced.

You seem to have misunderstood. I said it would be ridiculous to say the government are grooming children. That's nothing to do with whether or not individuals in government are being "groomed".

And my point still stands that grooming has a specific meaning and showing children the gingerbread diagram
isn't what being groomed is. It actually increases the risks to children to conflate poor teaching with predatory sexual behaviours.

Please can we reserve the term grooming for actual grooming.

No, Cassie, adults, in government, as well as anywhere else, are quite capable of being groomed.

People in institutions.

People displaying the rainbow flag.

That's the point.

Children being taught the genderbread diagram, in schools, are being groomed. They are being trained to accept gender ideology as fact.

I,ve seen women's rights stickers in toilets . Graffiti seems to be making a come back. KJK isn't the only woman who makes stickers. I've seen different ones as well.
edit to say but only in captured institutions not independent businesses.

Edited

So inside captured organisations there are dissidents who are putting up women's rights stickers. Well, it's a start.

This thread highlights one of the many problems of shoe horning the T into the LGB.

The LGB are used as human shields for anyone criticising the behaviour demonstrated by TRAs, with cries of 'homophobia' - ignoring the fact that gender ideology is horrendously homophonic.

This is currently being discussed/ demonstrated on the thread about disability being included in the new progress flag. Any criticism is shouted down with 'homophobia!'.

It's tiresomely disingenuous.

Also I'd agree it highlights one of the many problems of shoehorning the LBB in with the T - the issue of people using concerns about the T to express thinly veiled homophobia and homophobic stereotypes.

Not half as offensive as I find being called 'cis', but then we all have our crosses to bear.

I find both offensive. It's not a zero sum game, is it.

It's not disingenuous to point out how things could be perceived as homophobic. It's the same in fact as feminists pointing out how TRA images/messaging might erase women. Disappointing to see TRA tactics being used to shut down fair points.

If you don't understand captured organisations, and how grooming of adults works then you probably won't understand the outrage at the NHS insisting a rapist doesn't exist because they believe a man is a woman.

Please don't spread the idea that grooming only happens to children.

If posters were saying that I'd think they were being ridiculously hyperbolic and completely stop taking anything they said seriously.
