Venice has been expelled from the Ladies Pond. It means nothing really as they are just a stakeholder group, but it makes them look terrible like little authoritarian ignoramuses.

Here's Venice's tweet with their silly email. x.com/roseveniceallan/status/1795437142757532118?s=46

She'll still be able to swim, she just won't be allowed to attend the utterly pointless but entertaining AGM.

It's interesting because they sent an email round a few weeks ago asking members to agree to the constitution and if anyone failed to agree then they would be expected to leave the KLPA.

@Helleofabore I have been at a meeting organised by Venice Allen where people were rightly ejected.

Helleofabore · 30/05/2024 15:29

Which meetings has Venice ejected people from? Can you link up where she has done this please so we can see what you are referring to.

The only one I'm aware of is when Kat Pinder was removed from WNTT 'Inconvenient Women' event for calling Sheila Jeffreys a cunt:

Inconvenient Women - A We Need To Talk event

There is a difference between completely stopping a meeting from progressing that a person is legitimately attending as a paying member of the group, and people who enter a meeting with only the intention of stopping the proceedings from going ahead.

Did Venice attend the meeting as a paying member who wishes to vote on the issues being voted on at that meeting?

Did Venice get up and say what she wanted to say but then attempt to try to prevent the meeting from continuing?

If Venice has done the above to people who are paying members of a group, who is there to vote on issues that they have a right to vote on, please do link us up with her doing this? Particularly if they simply made their statement and had no intention of stopping the proceeding further. I look forward to seeing where she has done this because at this time, I cannot remember her doing this.

And Venice rightly ejects people from her meetings who shout abuse and try and drown out the speakers.
That is what happens when you disrupt a meeting. You are ejected and/or banned from future meetings.

I see. You're going to hide behind the derail started by you. So if I start a new thread asking the same question, will you post on it and answer?

This is the question I'm taking about.

DialSquare · 30/05/2024 15:22

I like the emails but not constantly.

GoodAfternoonGoodEveningAndGoodnight · 30/05/2024 15:21

DialSquare · 30/05/2024 15:20

Don't tell me why I've asked not to be @.

I don't want all the emails. We've established we are all on this thread. I'm happy with it once or twice but it's too much now.

Your question is nothing to do with this thread, carry on with your whataboutery by all means

GoodAfternoonGoodEveningAndGoodnight · 30/05/2024 15:20

Says it all

Answer my question first.

😂
Christ

GoodAfternoonGoodEveningAndGoodnight · 30/05/2024 15:18

DialSquare · 30/05/2024 15:10

No need to @ me either as I'm on the thread.

People do it all the time, including "GC", and it's only ever wheeled out when people take offence at being questioned, goes all "don't @ me!"
Again hypocrisy

DialSquare · 30/05/2024 15:18

GoodAfternoonGoodEveningAndGoodnight · 30/05/2024 15:15

Even if she was, why is it OK to use a slur towards trans people?
When people on here don't like the C word or the TE*F one to the extent that they're now classed as deletable word on here, surely it's hypocrisy at it's finest to be defending someone's right to slur a group of people if it's against a minority group you presumably think deserve it?

Answer my question first.

GoodAfternoonGoodEveningAndGoodnight · 30/05/2024 15:16

DialSquare · 30/05/2024 15:09

But she's taking about the TRAs that turn up to abuse and attack the women at meetings. That's the context.

Sorry my last post was in reference to this

YourPinkDog · 30/05/2024 15:14

I accept it was a protest. I also think the group are right to exclude her so she can not disrupt future meetings with her protest.
Or do you really think they should put up Venice protesting every meeting they have?

Helleofabore · 30/05/2024 15:12

YourPinkDog · 30/05/2024 15:05

@Helleofabore Why?

I view her actions at the AGM to be a legitimate peaceful protest against the inclusion of male people at the pools.

Considering what has been described and accepted as 'peaceful protest' recently, why do you think this should not be considered as a legitimate peaceful protest?

DialSquare · 30/05/2024 15:10

YourPinkDog · 30/05/2024 15:07

@DialSquare she did not talk about transactivists. She used a slur for trans people

DialSquare · 30/05/2024 15:06

The context of her tweets appears to be aimed at TRAs. Not all TRAs are Trans and not all Trans are TRAs so no, I don't think they are transphobic.

YourPinkDog · 30/05/2024 15:05

@Helleofabore Why?

Helleofabore · 30/05/2024 15:03

I don't believe that Venice Allen should be banned from attending the meetings based on her behaviour at the AGM.

YourPinkDog · 30/05/2024 15:01

So most people on here appear to think it is fine for Venice Allen to behave as she did at the AGM And that her tweets posted on here were fine.
