Thanks for the share as usual, Iggy.

I was reading about this earlier on Reddit. One user came to warn others not to use Gender GP.

"To any folks out there looking at their options to start transitioning: Please only use GGP if you have absolutely no other choice. They will cause you nothing but stress.

If any of the decision makers at GGP are reading this: You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I'm sorry if this post has been a rambly mess but I am kind of freaking out at the moment. Additionally, if something like this has been posted before I am sorry I don't keep up with this sub much recently. Although imo I don't think this can be posted often enough, people need to know what an absolute dogshit "service" GGP are providing."

Also speechless. This is consumer cosmetic medicine with no acknowledgement of risk or dangers. You have to pay to get fertility counselling as an extra ffs!! I hope HW is on a fast track to being struck off. The only upside is that even their customers seem to realise that they are getting a raw deal and, if the reddit TransgenderUK is representative, are deserting them.

They really are scum exploiting people.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 10/05/2024 19:24

I despair at all this. When is society going to intervene and get these deluded young people out of the clutches of these charlatans pushing this toxic belief in sex change at them?

HoneyButterPopcorn · 10/05/2024 19:16

Investing piece - 1) humans don’t ‘transition’ because they can’t and 2) ‘many of their friends’ (wanting testosterone) - how ‘many’, 1, 2, 3, 20?

I am speechless ... was there any more clear evidence that there is no care here, it’s just a massive money making exercise preying on vulnerable people, most of them children or young adults.

”To join GenderGP, customers must pay an upfront fee of £195 and £65 for an obligatory information gathering session, followed by a monthly subscription fee of £30. They can book optional sessions to discuss issues such as fertility preservation and surgery for between £45 and £150 a time. The drugs are charged separately: a three-month supply of puberty blockers costs £265. Testosterone gel costs £135.
As part of its "future-proofed" service, GenderGP no longer appears to have real staff responding to queries. Instead, it tells paying subscribers to "self-serve your information needs" and refers them to a web link for an Al-generated "knowledge base".
The most basic interaction costs £7.99 for a 15-minute "live chat".
This system, it promised, will be "more sofisticated [sic]".

I came here to post a link to this, thank you OP. The Webberleys are monsters and I hope justice catches up with them one day.
