Thank you for this @ResisterRex

'Acceptance without exception'. That catchy slogan didn't age well! As we heard of one after the other deviant and violant Males identifying as women.

ArabellaScott · 14/04/2024 10:01

Yes. It was the 'utilising' that shocked me, (which to be pedantic I had misrembered as 'using' but wasn't sure of, which is why I went back and transcribed). I don't like powerful lobbyists talking about using children/girls.

So, teenage girls from Evangelical Pentecostal communities, teaching them how to be amazing campaigners for equality

By making them responsible for everyone else’s well being (Be Kind!).

ArabellaScott · 14/04/2024 09:53

Transcript of the section on religion from the LSE talk on Stonewall:

'‘God:

So, Stonewall does a huge amount of work with god, and on God’s behalf …

Stonewall has done extensive work with the Catholic community, the Church of England, and with, increasingly, Evangelical Pentecostal communities as well, mainly utilising, ah, heterosexual teenagers, and allies. So, teenage girls from Evangelical Pentecostal communities, teaching them how to be amazing campaigners for equality – you do not mess with a Pentecostal, Evangelical, teenage girl. So we are making inroads into these different communities.’

At around 37 minutes.

Petition for Ruth Hunt to lose her peerage - pls sign!

this weasel has affected so many groups- kids, lesbians, vulnerable women.

I hope someone starts a petition for criminal investigations to begin, immediately into key figures who advised schools and councils to socially transition children without parents knowledge.

‘Stonewall’s mis representation of the law was supported hugely financially by the public purse. There needs to be a public inquiry into the role of government and the influence and funding that Stonewall gained around gender identity issues.

The charity’s encouragement on Hunt’s watch (and then Kelley’s) of a hostile environment around women and men raising any questions of their position has been appalling’

Public equity into Ruth Hunt and Stonewall now. Revoke her cushy seat in the Lords. Baroness - Bullshit.

SinnerBoy I think the relevant schools sent out emails.

Neither of us have had an email, but I've put it on the class What's App group and some replies say it was on the school gateway app, which I cannot access.

Utterly shocking and unforgivable.

https://twitter.com/Belstaffie/status/1779263617344348487

Thanks to #RuthHunt, #StonewallUK, et al, I underwent a five year campaign of hatred against me and my property, from my community in #Todmorden, because I am a genuine, gender critical lesbian.

These were all “queer”. middle class, white heterosexuals.

I was banned from the Golden Lion and all venues where trans people were, because I was “transphobic”.

I was even banned from the #TodmordenWomensDisco for complaining about men claiming to be trans”lesbians” being welcomed in, after being staunchly all female for a whopping 30 years.

My vehicles were attacked, my windows smashed, I was shunned and had graffiti scrawled around the town about me.

I was stalked and attacked by a man in Manchester because of the hatred Ruth Hunt whipped up against lesbians.

He threw two bottles of milkshake at me. We thought it was acid.

With Victim Support’s help, I was rehoused and I am still in hiding from TRAs. Thats why I went very quiet for a while.

The homophobia she unleashed against lesbians, has damaged us beyond repair, I feel.

I’ve told my new neighbours that my husband is in jail and may get his parole soon. (Silence). Then change the subject.

You may laugh, but I’m a survivor. I didn’t expect to have to lie about my sexual orientation for safety reasons in #UK2024 at my age!

That’s the damage RH and StonewallUK have done to this genuine lesbian!

So eff you very much, Ruth Hunt!

What an absolutely shameless slippery customer. Stonewall’s mis representation of the law was supported hugely financially by the public purse. There needs to be a public inquiry into the role of government and the influence and funding that Stonewall gained around gender identity issues.
The charity’s encouragement on Hunt’s watch (and then Kelley’s) of a hostile environment around women and men raising any questions of their position has been appalling.

Hunt as charity’s boss lost Stonewall its hard won moral leadership and expert professional authority by permitting ‘Stonelaw’ to be promoted to other organisations and promoting authoritarian and divisive absolutes like #nodebate. Her tenure responded with hostility rather than openness when valid questions were raised.

Luckily the MN archive is there for future historians and are full of links to evidence what went on at the time: for example

https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/womens_rights/3384455-Ruth-Hunt-Stonewall-do-not-and-will-not-acknowledge-that-there-is-a-conflict-between-trans-rights-and-sex-based-women-s-rights

Worringly I notice that the relevant source link at Stonewall, has been removed from Stonewall’s website. This link was to the charity’s outrageous response when headed by Ruth Hunt to a very reasonable petition signed by key figures asking for dialogue, pasted below.

That removal of a key policy statement doesn’t look good for Stonewall’s transparency. We clearly need the legal authority of a public inquiry to get to the bottom of Stonewall’s part in the widespread organisational capture in the UK and authoritarian climate on the gender identity issue.

https://www.stonewall.org.uk/stonewall-stories-category/come-out-lgbt/our-work-trans-equality-heart-our-mission-acceptance - now a broken link Hmm

The original petition has also been tampered with, by who knows who, again worrying, but its text stands up today: https://www.ipetitions.com/petition/dear-stonewall-please-reconsider-your-approach

‘Stonewall was founded in 1989 to fight for the civil rights of gay, lesbian and bisexual people. It has played a leading role in advancing these rights, from the abolition of Margaret Thatcher’s hated Section 28, to securing an equal age of consent, civil partnerships and gay marriage.
Since 2015, Stonewall has also campaigned on trans issues. We believe the organisation has made mistakes in its approach. These mistakes are undermining women’s sex-based rights and protections, and damaging the relationship between transsexual people and women - a relationship which had been positive for many years.
On Oct 19th the Government’s public consultation on proposed changes to the Gender Recognition Act closes, so it is important that there should be debates amongst us all about transgender politics and the rights of women and girls. Stonewall disagrees and calls debate on this matter of public policy transphobic.
Stonewall’s promotion of the concept of 'gender identity’, which has it that a man or woman is anyone (of either sex) who identifies as such, is also undermining the basis of lesbian, gay and bisexual identities as orientated around same-sex attraction. Lesbians in particular are coming under pressure to accept male-bodied trans women into their spaces and as sexual partners.
At the moment, Stonewall is failing in three key ways:

  • By uncritically adopting a form of transgender politics which undermines the sex-based rights of women and the concept of homosexuality itself
  • By refusing to recognise the diversity of viewpoints on these issues, including among LGBT people.
  • By seeking to prevent public debate of these issues by branding as transphobic anyone who questions Stonewall’s current trans policies.
We call on Stonewall to:
  • Acknowledge that there are a range of valid viewpoints around sex, gender and transgender politics
  • Acknowledge specifically the conflict that exists between transgenderism and sex-based women’s rights
  • Commit to fostering an atmosphere of respectful debate, rather than demonising as transphobic those who wish to discuss or dissent from Stonewall’s current policies’

The petition fell on deaf ears under Hunt and those who have followed which is very shocking, considering the charity’s founding history, that it could undermine its own support for same sex attraction.

BBC WhatsApp story. Released on the day WhatsApp reduced from 16 to 13 last week.

Holy fucking shit! We're in North Tyneside and my daughter is in Y6. This is the first I've heard of it! She's totally TWAW.

I'll have to ask if she's on this group. Group chats are specifically banned at her school, but she's admitted being on two and has had some abuse.

I cannot begin to properly express how furious I am about Ruth Hunt’s attempt to re-write the KEY part she played in all of this. If anything, her time at Stonewall was ground zero for all this. It was Stonewall that started this and she was firmly in the driving seat.

I have had the absolute misfortune of having had to deal with her. She and her partner run an equality and diversity type programme that somewhere I used to work brought them in to run. She met her partner when the two of them oversaw the change at Stonewall from a gay rights group to a trans rights group. About half their staff left because of it.

Some of our staff, including me, left our org after the work Ruth and her partner did. Not content with spreading their dangerous bullshit at Stonewall they did it at my old workplace too. I say we left, but actually it was made very clear that anyone not toeing the party line would be pushed out, so we jumped before we were pushed.

Before this article, I at least thought she believed her utter nonsense, but watching her lie and obfuscate about the part she played fills me with contempt for her. Her utter lack of integrity is astonishing.

So sorry to read this GC5.

Ruth Hunt wanted her own Children's Crusade?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Children%27s_Crusade

How very unusual and somehow not that surprising…

Interesting article.

“A History of the Crusades (1962) generally follows Munro's conclusions, and adds that there was a psychological instability of the age, concluding the Children's Crusade "remains one of a series of social explosions, through which medieval men and women—and children too—found release"

And this.

“Many historians came to believe that they were not (or not primarily) children, but multiple bands of "wandering poor" in Germany and France. This comes in large part from the words "parvuli" or "infantes" found in two accounts of the event from William of Andres and Alberic of Troisfontaines. No other accounts from the time period suggest an age at all, but the connotation with the two words give an entirely separate meaning. Medieval writers often split up a life into four major parts with a variety of age ranges associated to them. The Church then co-opted this classification to a societal coding, with the expression referring to wage workers or labourers who were young and had no inheritance. The Chronica regia Coloniensis, written in 1213 (a year after the crusade was said to have taken place), refers to crusaders having "left the plows or carts which they were driving, [and] the flocks which they were pasturing", adding to the idea of it being not "puerti" the age, but "puerti" the societal moniker. Another spelling, pueri, translates precisely into children, but indirectly means "the powerless".

There’s something really insidious about Hunt. And you’re right, it’s one thing when these gender fanatics believe it, there can be an element of pity they’re deluded but her behaviour now, her obvious reference to Carmichael when she said ‘we trusted the experts’ demonstrates the complete lack of integrity and willingness to save her own skin at any costs.

im a lesbian and Ruth hunt is despised by other lesbians living in London who are 35 plus .I mean we think she’s vile. As a gay woman she was responsible for so much of what we have to endure now where these men are in our social spaces. There are literally NO lesbian spaces left in London. There’s a witch hunt for terfs in the community. I can’t emphasise now much women despise Ruth Hunt in my community.

thats before you even touch what she’s to kids.

prison, every single last one of them.

I've never signed a petition so fast. Wouldn't it be better though as a parliamentary petition rather than change?

Good to hear from Allison. This can only help her case against Stonewall.

Thanks to everyone for the links. That picture is so sad. I've seen it many times, it never fails to shock. Those poor girls.

Me too. I agree a parliamentary one would perhaps be more effective.
