The absolute brass neck of Ruth Hunt

That is the brassiest of brass necks indeed. Now she is worried about where all the butch lesbians have gone. It's not exactly a mystery is it.

In its newsletter to school leaders, Warwickshire county council, wrote: “Please be aware … We have been asked by Stonewall to advise schools that this does not reflect good practice and is actively misleading around schools’ duties/role in supporting trans children and young people.” A similar warning was circulated by local authorities in Hertfordshire in June 2019.”

Un-bel-iev-able dishonesty, brass necks and bad faith 😠.
As a PP said, the internet never forgets, lets flood every phone-in, letters to editors, online fora, whatever, with incontrovertible proof that these people were dangerously wrong then, and shamelessly lying now.

Hunt has noticed that the wind has changed direction. Kelley hasn’t.

I’m struggling to process the shamelessness of it all. She seems willing to throw any of her (no doubt former) allies under the bus. If she’s not going to apologise, you’d think she’d maintain a dignified silence, but to flat out deny her responsibility in this while pointing the finger elsewhere is Post Office style corporate villainy.

The fight against trans-ideology has been fought and funded by volunteers who are passionate about the rights of women and children.

All credit to Stephanie Davies-Arai fromTransgender Trend who produced the guide for schools for and received so much hate from Stonewall - all because the guide promoted safeguarding children. Stonewall mounted a massive campaign against it.

Worth remembering that Ruth Hunt worked for Stonewall from 2005 . She may say she isn’t responsible for policies after she left in 2019, but I think it is probably true to say that her fingerprints will be visible over many policies and agendas in the 14 years she was there.

I guess there was always going to be a reckoning and a lot of reverse ferreting but I never expected it to be quite as brazen as this! Bloody cheek of the woman.

Hunt’s critics may contrast that position with her response in October 2018 to a petition asking Stonewall to acknowledge there was a conflict around transgender rights and sex-based women’s rights. She wrote: “We do not and will not acknowledge this. Doing so would imply that we do not believe that trans people deserve the same rights as others. We will always debate issues that enable us to further equality but what we will not do is debate trans people’s right to exist.”

So this is how it's going to play out? Lots of people going "we didn't mean that we meant this / We didn't say that or if we did you misunderstood what we actually meant. / It wasn't me officer!"

Stonewall made money, lots of it, by encouraging schools to sign up to their Champions programme to peddle this shit to children thereby undoing decades of positive social progress.

I couldn’t agree more that a public inquiry needs to be held as soon as possible into their role in the damage caused to the physical and mental health of young people through the ideology they have so actively promoted.

That’s an image that will be in history books in the future, as an illustration of these times and the collective madness that was a culmination of the devastating effects of patriarchy, misogyny, homophobia, big pharma and the dangers of an unregulated internet.
