I liked the 'is it a hat bobble or a hedgehog?' story: it made feel that humans can be kind (in the proper sense) and that maybe there was some hope after all.

Now, if Lycet invented it (I haven't clicked the link) the world is shit again. Rather like Mr L himself.

To be fair, I once rushed a 'badly injured' cat that had clearly just been hit by a car and was barely able to walk to the vet to discover that it was actually a perfectly healthy cat just living it's best life lying in the (quiet!) road on a sunny day. The limp was due to it having only three legs which I hadn't even noticed 🙃

That cat knew EXACTLY what it was doing 🤣

He wants to try and control the news. Seems pretty controlling. The sort of thing someone who is so arrogant they think they ought to pick and choose what other people watch. And the kind of petty bully who thinks its hiLArious to trick people because it makes him feel clever.

This explains the hat bobble though. I couldn't figure out how you could pick up a discarded bobble but still continue to mistake it for a living creature.

Ahh that would make sense if the bobble hat/hedgehog was one. I couldn't figure out with that one just how someone could be so dense. I get confusing it on the ground/at a distance etc but the fact it was in a box and so must have been handled made zero sense.
