Would trains be likely to be cancelled due to high winds alone? I'm worried about getting stuck in Edinburgh 🙄

I bought a ticket but the weather has put me off going, I'm afraid. It's already blowing a hoolie and due to be worse tomorrow. I'm gutted, but can't take the risk driving.

I'm actually considering driving, because the trains won't be reliable.
I'm currently in Glasgow, but live in a town on the Clyde so I'll see what it's like getting home later.

You can! I think the tickets aren't checked and the money is just a donation to help pay for security (keeping Spandex Samantha-Sparkle-Emma-Jade at arm's length).

not sure I would be brave enough to attend. This has been a very bad week for the Koolaid gang. The Scottish Babylon not arresting JKR, Stonewall going turncoat (for entirely cynical reasons). As the tide continues to turn against them I expect the gender loons will become ever more extreme in their toddler tantrums.

I'm planning to, but watching the weather because I'll be getting the train and they always get cancelled in bad weather here.

Same situation here. I'll be disappointed if I can't go, but the weather is not looking good today. 🙄
