Did I hear the Scot Gov woman saying if the misgenderer was in England it was for the English authorities to investigate? Is she not aware that if it’s read by someone in Scotland it’s treated as published in Scotland and can (must?) be investigated by Police Scotland if reported? That’s what I’ve seen in recent media reporting about this legislation.

For all Tatchell's many faults, I think he is a free speech advocate even for people he disagrees with.

If women were included in this ridiculous bill the police would never get anything else done. They will be busy enough with all the fabricated accusations against women anyway. It is all just one big witch hunt.

I nearly fainted when Tatchell said women needed more protection, I wondered if he was about to say “April Fool”.

Indeed. Lord Bracadale had advised women should be included when he made his original report.

TBH I don't want this expanded in any form; this law is pish and needs to go.
