Feminism: Sex and gender discussions
Froodwithatowel · 28/02/2024 16:37

😂

Facts, basic sense and reality spoiled the whole day.

SinnerBoy · 28/02/2024 16:25

I found it heartwarming and amusing, but light on detail! I wanted some of the conversations!

BlueMonday1977 · 28/02/2024 16:19

Urgh the writing style is fucking terrible though. Its giving me the ick!

Emotionalsupportviper · 28/02/2024 15:39

Fecking Ada!

What sort of a rabid enclave is GCC?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 28/02/2024 15:23

Also I’m sure the non-binary chap at GCC will be having conniptions.

I might be thinking of a different event but I think he was presenting. The microaggressions!

nauticant · 28/02/2024 14:57

They learned 2 things from the Allison Bailey case:

  1. We are the real victims.
  2. When we discriminate in the cause of righteousness, now we should try to hide it.
MrsOvertonsWindow · 28/02/2024 14:54

Good grief.
You'd have thought after their debacle in the Allison Bailey case where certain witnesses were shown to be incoherent, ideologically compromised individuals with a varying relationship with the truth, they'd have tightened up a bit on people openly showing misogyny, homophobia, anti semitism etc.
Instead they appear to be curating it all 😑

nothingcomestonothing · 28/02/2024 14:48

I read 'audible gasps' and imagine a room full of they/thems Buttergasping in unison at the sight of Maya Forstater and a small group of delegates/witches. Beautiful.

drspouse · 28/02/2024 14:43

"Maya Forstater bringing up the rear, unmissable with her big hair and bright raspberry-pink coat."
I'd have loved to be there!

NoBinturongsHereMate · 28/02/2024 14:40

I do hope someone can track down the Travers Smith chaps and get their take on events.

OneMorePlant · 28/02/2024 14:36

It's great that some representatives of our coven were there.

I shall sacrifice a cake at the next full moon as thanks to the goddess for getting them in.

afternoonoflife · 28/02/2024 14:34

I’m disappointed they didn’t take their support animals with them.

Also I’m sure the non-binary chap at GCC will be having conniptions.

Emotionalsupportviper · 28/02/2024 14:23

I bet the witches' pen was terrifying to behold . . . smart, articulate, intelligent, professional women, possibly with notebooks (and even pens) in those most dangerous of colours, purple, white and/or green.

I hope that GCC had the good manners to at least furnish them with a cauldron to cavort around while they waited for their seats in the conference hall.

popebishop · 28/02/2024 14:18

I'm sure they were listening politely in a fascist way though, weren't they? Paid off by Nigel Farage or Billy Graham or whoever it's supposed to be?

Thanks for the link op!

Emotionalsupportviper · 28/02/2024 14:18

If ever I'd wished I was a fly on the wall . . .

pickledandpuzzled · 28/02/2024 14:17

I wonder what the Travers Smith chaps (assuming they are gender conforming that is) took away from the event?

And I wonder what dissonance a civilised chat and a couple of tricky questions caused in the brains of the perpetually besieged?

MrsOvertonsWindow · 28/02/2024 14:12

😂
Just shows what happens when you promote an ideology with no coherent basis - or factual legal arguments.
Censorship!

misscockerspaniel · 28/02/2024 14:11

That is brilliant - I like the way they ended up in the front row 😀

lifeturnsonadime · 28/02/2024 14:04

Brilliant!

UtopiaPlanitia · 28/02/2024 14:01

Loved that article. Shenanigans aplenty occurred to stop people attending a conference but the great thing is that the people eventually attended the conference and things went fine. We need more cross-bench events with good faith discussions.

Tinysoxxx · 28/02/2024 14:01

They might have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for those pesky bemused chaps from Travers Smith. 🍷🍷

ADoggyDogWorld · 28/02/2024 13:58

Hah! 😁
