It's the most click-baity video title ever...

I Tell Trans Person A Very Difficult TRUTH (Heated!)

Currently watching this and thus far Gold hasn't really challenged Went that strongly, which I mean, is reasonable. It's not a boxing match. That said Went has deployed a tonne of tripe so far dressed up as 'reasonable'.

The argument that 'life is all about accommodating each other' (using religion coexistence as a metaphor) fails to mention how the accomodation in this instance is entirely one damn way...

If anything else (positive or negative) crops up, I'll post. Summary at the end.

Has anyone else here watched this yet?

I Tell Trans Person A Very Difficult TRUTH (Heated!) - Katy Jon Went (4K) | heretics. 29

Podcaster Andrew Gold debates trans person Katy Jon Went about trans activism, changing rooms, sports and autogynephilia (AGP). The pair have a fun and inter...

Just highlighting this:

But like I said, there will be a point when we have to coexist

There should be a point where MEN are made to coexist with trans women as Trans Women are a type of man. They're male, most have a penis, most went through male puberty - they're all Male.
Women shouldn't have to move over for men, wether they're a good little fetishist that won't rape anyone and that gets head pats from women or a bad one using trans as cover to access victims.

The clitoris is astonishing, isn't it. Here's another fabulous pic. The clitoris in yellow, with attendant female sex organs.

Fabulous pic indeed, Datun. I think I remember it from The Blue Planet☺

That amazing picture would make a brilliant logo for a Women’s group/political party/flag….

Also, as stated before, Bannatyne gyms adhere to single-sex exceptions for their changing rooms and they are very well known for doing so; isn’t it interesting that Went felt it was perfectly fine to ignore this gym chain’s official policy

Yes Duncan Bannatyne is the only gym owner to come out and specify that women means women.

This is entirely in character with the MO of transactivation. Anyone who thinks Katie John went is anything other than promoting transactivation isn't paying attention.

I wonder if the man himself could be induced to intervene and ban Katyjon? It's a deliberate abuse of the facilities and gym membership are agreements, which work in both directions.

The more I think about KJW invading women's changing rooms, the crosser I get, both with KJW and the female friend who decided unilaterally that it was fine.

KJW self-describes as not 'passing' as a woman (I agree totally), having a male voice (yes) but having D cup breasts. So any woman in that changing room would see and hear a man. With breasts. Do KJW and friend really have no concept of the distress that would cause a lot of women?

And this was in a Bannatyne gym, where birth sex applies.

I hope Bannatyne gyms ban KJW and the enabling friend.

Random question (not aimed at anyone in particular): Why is it always D cup? I’ve noticed this pattern; they always get D cups 🙄🤷‍♀️

If you stuck that in the Tate Modern, I wonder how many people would recognise it! 😁

I hope KJW’s clitoris is the full shilling as described in an article about research by Dr Helen O’Connell: “ It […was…] not just a small nub of erectile tissue, described in some texts as the “poor homologue” of the penis. Instead it was an otherworldly shape, with the nerve-rich glans merely the external protrusion of an organ that extended beneath the pubic bone and wrapped around the vaginal opening, with bulbs that become engorged when aroused.” A bit smaller than a woman’s hand.

I hope KJW hasn’t been sold a pup.

If you want to see the original, you’ll have to hold your nose about the Guardian and stuff about women and “people with vaginas”: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2020/nov/01/the-sole-function-of-the-clitoris-is-female-orgasm-is-that-why-its-ignored-by-medical-science

Plus the clitoris has at least twice the number of nerve endings than the tip of a penis, and God knows how many more after that's been operated on.

I hope KJW hasn’t been sold a pup.

i'm willing to bet they're not actually shown these photos.

I remember that other TRA psychologist, Meg John Barker, claiming that there's no difference between a penis and a clitoris, other than the length 🙄

Aren’t there usually cubicles within a large changing space, of either sex? In pictures of KJW their breasts aren’t very noticeable, if they wore loose clothing they’d definitely pass as a man in the men’s changing room, then they could just get changed in the cubicle.

Edited

The sole function of the clitoris is female orgasm. Is that why it’s ignored by medical science?

Medical textbooks are full of anatomical pictures of the penis, but the clitoris barely rates a mention. Many medical professionals are uncomfortable even talking about it

Yes wrong word! All their language has rubbed off on me. I was just trying to say his excuse for not using the men’s changing room was rubbish.

Thanks for the explanation, as a friend of mine sometimes says we're 'furiously agreeing' with each other.

WarriorN · 17/02/2024 08:47

He even let us know the size.

Saw that clip and told me all I needed to know.

One where everyone is blind and deaf and standing forty feet away from him.

Men with gender are forever trying to suggest that them ending up in a womans space, dressed in clothes that they are turned on by, or even undresed, is something that's just happens to them. It an series of events thats out of their control.

KJW says he was the most reluctant trans person - that it was the last option.

He says that he needs to swim to save his health, but men dont want him in male facilities, or its not appropriate for his breasts to be in male facilities. So what else can he do but be a man in a towel in the womens changing room? He even blames women - his female friend encouraged it.

But every single step was his choice and his responsibility.

ZuttZeVootEeeVo · 17/02/2024 08:26

"Claire's outrageous thoughts" on twitter is enlightening on this topic.

https://twitter.com/claireOT/status/1464550079273000960?s=19

She explains that male sexuality is different to womens, and often develops to focus on instant gratification, which can be all encompassing.

Society develops to balance male and female needs, and without shame, some men would focus on their sexuality all of the time without any concern of the consequences to themselves and everyone around them.

Making a paraphilia socially acceptable means men are allowed to perform it all of the time and involve everyone around them.

Men with paraphilia will constantly push boundaries and are likely to develop others.

Read it if you can, she explains it much better than i can.

I cant see how we can allow a little bit of a paraphilia into society, or a few men to perform their paraphilia and not have any negative inpact on society.

"Pass" as a man?! In what possible scenario would Went fail to be recognised as a man?

Listen, I am bracing myself for a bit of a pile on, but I found it interesting and I found Went reasonable.

Dr Az Hakeem, who is my personal favourite go to expert, did say that AGPs are quite rare, they make up only 5% or do of trans women and most of the others are transvestites who are aroused by the actual women's clothing - be that the fabric or the idea of looking a certain way, rather than wanting actual female body parts, so I reckon it's becoe a bit overused.

And didn't we all say, at the very start, wear what you like, do what you like to yourself, as long as you don't think you are actually a woman and invade our spaces? And Went seems respectful of that. Even going so far as to saying the current trans lobby is overreaching....

Anyway, I thought it was worth watching the whole thing.

AGP can take various forms apparently.

One is the fetish over the clothes, one is the fetish over women's anatomy, one is the fetish over female bodily functions, and one is a fetish over perceived feminine occupations, like knitting. (Jane Fae used to knit).

Referenced here from a review of Debbie Hayton's book about AGP.

Instead we have the supposed four types of AGP mind explained to us, these are: transvestic (clothes), behavioural (getting turned on by typical behaviours of a woman, i.e. sexist tropes), anatomic (wanting a female body) and physiological (‘arousal by the fantasy of having female body functions’,

Me: "I'm not refusing to share a space with you. I'm kicking your sorry arse out of mine".

Rightsraptor · 17/02/2024 00:29

Katy shares the GC stance on prisons, sports & domestic violence refuges if I understood correctly. The area where Katy differs from women like me is changing rooms (no mention made of hospital wards).

This is surely because Katy is vanishingly unlikely to be in a prison, domestic violence refuge or in a sporting event as such. However, Katy might find Katyself in a leisure centre changing room and so Katy has decided this is OK. Katy can use the women's area. Katy is borderline diabetic and so exercise is recommended.

But what of the women who are borderline diabetic and need to exercise? What of them, remaining shut up in a cubicle until they hear Katy's male voice disappear maybe? Where can they go to change?

Changing rooms are basically male and female, not 'those with D cup breasts' and those without.

Justwrong68 · 16/02/2024 22:14

The loud, awkward laughter, the mansplaining, the blaming his "lesbian" friend for going into the changing room. The references to his tits. Tiresome and sickening. Most of us women have been gaslit enough in the past to know it when we hear it.

10ThousandSpoons · 16/02/2024 22:11

Watched a bit more. Why is Katy mentioning their sister's breasts?
