When the police and courts are dealing with the victim do they refer to this person as a woman?

Assault by penetration is penetration by something other than a penis. If a penis was used it would be prosecuted as rape.

it’s incredible that women are gaslighted like this by the media and police. Just fucking appalling. The fact that the person is trans is clearly in the public domain makes it bizarre that “woman” is used. women have vaginas not penises.
Will this not even be prosecuted as rape because the authorities are in denial that this man has a penis? Assault by penetration is not the same crime. Surely the actual physical facts cannot be ignored by police like this???!!

I will never understand the logic that the feelings of a penis owner trumps biological reality. A woman did not commit this crime. A man did.

How has the suspect been identified, does anyone know? More to the point, why didn't the cops release a name and ask if anyone had seen they?

This reflects so badly on women, the gay community, the people with gender dysphoria, the police, the press, the government, society at large etc.

The man who raped a child has now has this grim power over all of us.
