I understand he had claimed to have converted to Christianity but, apparently, despite that was still an observant Muslim. It reminds me of the Scottish politician smugly asserting that abusive men never pretend to be something else.

If he is dead I'm not glad but I'm not sorry. I wish the people he harmed all the best and reserve admiration for the ones who stepped in to help them.

BBC said he was seen leaning over the bridge. I would assume that there's no CCTV footage of him leaving the bridge if this is their conclusion.

They reported he was walking backwards and forwards on Chelsea Bridge, and climbed on the wall. There's no clear image of him jumping. It's all based on cctv.

They must have footage of him on the bridge but not leaving the bridge, then?

What a ridiculous conclusion. So he was seen near a bridge? That means he probably killed himself? Despite no one seeing it and there being no body? Talk about speculation 🙄

I don't want to sound vindictive, I don't agree with capital punishment and I would never dream of saying this about someone who had killed themselves in other circumstances.

However, I wish he had had to feel the suffering and experience the impairment that his female victim is going to have to endure. It doesn't seem fair he had such an easy out.

They don't know for certain. It's the most likely possibility though.
