Such womanly. Many feminine.

All women have their testicles removed and kept in the fridge as proof they are a woman.

I remember reading in a cookery book to crack eggs individually so that you could weed out the off ones and not spoil a while batch of cracked offs of you were cooking. It was a ration time cookery book so I guess people were very cautious back then.

Only 1 egg a week per person on the ration, and eggs were gathered over a period of time before distribution so an egg could be three weeks old the day you bought it.

Although putting in a bowl of water pre cracking would tell you which ones were off.

I had a Canadian visitor who kept putting the eggs in the fridge.

When I grew up, my mum would wrap the eggs in newspaper individually and that was in the tropics. Mind you, we also learned to crack the egg in a cup to make sure that it wasn’t off (or didn’t have a chicken in it.). So I am not sure that it worked all that well.

I still do this. Only recently I found a rotten egg, hadn’t been in the fridge long, fortunately the smell is fairly obvious as you crack the egg.
I keep eggs in the fridge because I have a small kitchen and not much worktop surface.
Edit
Sorry clicked wrong quote. I was referring to breaking eggs individually not wrapping in newspaper 😁

Putting aside the obvious headlines, it's a fascinating insight into the work of the courts and how its being disrupted by people who are wielding protected characteristics as a weapon and how the court system is largely tolerating it for want of any other defensible course of action.

There are lots of people with very chaotic lives who pass through courts and they could benefit from an iota of the support and accommodations the court gives here when it effectively shouldn't.

Previous hearing on a different matter in which there is court chaos and a judge who is known for his equanimity, compassion, and all round fairness actually had to leave the court for a while to compose himself.

The Chinese eunuchs who served the emperor in the Imperial Palace kept their testes in jars. As Buddhists they kept any body part removed in order that they could be buried/cremated whole for reincarnation purposes I think. Also they were proof of their running status if they were moving from one area of service to another.

I just came here to say that Australians keep eggs in the fridge...(totally misses the point)

Is he even Muslim, or just identifying as one?

Fadeintoyou · 09/02/2024 09:15

I've just read this and came straight here to see if anyone had posted. There's so much going on there, the emotional support dog, the identifying as a Muslim woman, the testicles in the fridge.

It's almost as though some people like a lot of drama and attention in their lives!

RethinkingLife · 09/02/2024 09:14

Person with an extensive landlord tenant history.

The court hearing was streamed and has a lot of the usual tropes and there's a support dog.

I thought you weren’t supposed to wash eggs. My sister has chickens and I remember her saying this. Something about the shells being porous maybe?

i remember when my other sister emigrated to the us saying that the eggs were all white because they didn’t like ‘pooey’ brown ones.

Eggs have a protective coating. If you leave that on they’re sealed and can be stored at room temperature. If you wash it off they become porous and need to be stored in the fridge. American eggs are washed pre sale.

Biological specimens are preserved in formalin and are stable at room temperature.

I think we just discovered why Americans have giant walk in fridges. They’re to keep their balls in.

anothernamitynamenamechange · 09/02/2024 09:10

Also I love that the reaction to this story is "Americans keep eggs in the fridge? Whatever next!"

anothernamitynamenamechange · 09/02/2024 09:10

Such a womanly thing to do...

HoneyButterPopcorn · 09/02/2024 09:08

I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen testicles in a fridge though.

There's two minutes of my life I won't get back.

They keep eggs in the fridge?

In America they have to refrigerate eggs because they are "washed" before sale which takes off the protective bloom. They do this because of poor sanitation where they are farmed. Same as with the actual chickens.

I don't know the common protocol for storing testes though. 😂

HoneyButterPopcorn · 09/02/2024 08:41

Remember the hooha when the story came out (not sure if it was true) of Toyah Wilcox presenting her husband with her (preserved) amputated pinky toe (I don’t remember the details but don’t think it was some sort of voluntary memento).

Deadringer · 09/02/2024 08:20

ResisterRex · 09/02/2024 08:19

They keep eggs in the fridge?

😂

Helleofabore · 09/02/2024 08:16

Wasn’t there someone else who was a known TRA who kept their testes after they were removed? Is this a common thing?
