Every person in court fighting for gender critical beliefs (and winning) is a woman. This is a deeply misogynistic, regressive issue where women's voices are being taken away from them. Men, saying they are women, are telling women to shut up and get back in their boxes, that they are not what they think they are, that a man can tell you you're wrong and never be questioned.

From the Open University, to the Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre, women are being gaslit and the BBC, amongst others, is allowing it. Use your voice and get Womans hour, and the rest of the media to pay attention

Oh my goodness this has completely spiralled.

Pam copied in Billy, who disputed Blabla's data as she'd at that point missed off Rosie.

Billy said Rosie was one of the biggest anti trans activists.

Rosie has copied in Peter daly into her response...

Debbie Hayton is a TW whose views support women's rights. https://www.crimeandjustice.org.uk/resources/prison-service-needs-work-facts-not-fiction

I agree that the bias here is heavily towards TRAs, but not all TW believe they are actually women.

Crikey! When it's down in black and white the imbalance is unarguable.

That's an interesting list!

Billy Bragg looking very thick on Twitter re:this topic.
He should absolutely stop now as he's looking desperate theses days. Think he may be in hot water with Rosie Duffield (rubs non-mangled claws together in glee!)

Completely agree.

But just a point: sometimes TW do our job for us, especially on radio. I don't get to listen to WH very often. Do interviewers let TW dig their own baritone holes? Or do they only interview TRAs?

TeenDivided · 24/01/2024 12:20

I would be interested to see the timeline.
The impression I have is WH was extremely skewed towards trans voices initially but these days is finally providing an opportunity for more GC voices to be heard.

SoundTheSirens · 24/01/2024 12:11

I agree that this is a horribly misogynistic movement, that there is definite bias toward TRAs being represented on WH, and I think contacting them is a great idea so I'm on onboard, but just to note there are some men caught up in this gender madness too (e.g. James Esses, expelled from his counselling course for believing in the immutability of sex).

Tallisker · 24/01/2024 12:07

That is epic!
