Despicable. They should be reporting this as "he" and "him" IMO. At least they haven't policed the girls' pronoun use. Still awful.

Another one! At least it is reported as her in quotation marks and the girls referred to he and him throughout their statements and were forced to pretend he wasn’t a man.

@lechiffre55 yes I definitely got the impression the journalist/editor wanted to say he/him all the way through (that stray "him" was also a clue). What a shit world we live in where they can't just say a man is a man though.

When I read the 'her penis' with the quote marks around it, I heard the words in Ricky Gervais's voice. The quote marks look like a tiny act of disobedience to me.
