RMW lurks round these parts. Perhaps we’ll get an explanation.

Let's hope she's right about the snitches.

What utter cunts those snitches are.

Karensalright · 10/01/2024 23:29

RMW was not the respondents council in the proceedings. How interesting the plot thickens.

Read the tweet transcript of trials early on tonight. Noted that RM barrister made a surreptitious reference in her summing up, about an issue not included in her representations.

It might have to do with this RMW advice being a problematic issue. It is not considered polite to accuse a fellow barrister of conduct issues, as that would be for the Bar counsel, not a court proceeding.

Before the actual trial there are case review and direction hearings about what will and will not be included at trial, so i doubt we will ever know.

But RMW might find themselves briefs (Cases) somewhat reduced lets hope so

In the tweet, she quotes that para 69 of the SWE statement of case stated:

"… those who hold or espouse gender critical beliefs…are unlikely to accept that transgender people… are…biology and reality members of their chosen sex ..."

Apart from the painful grammar, SWE went after Rachel because of this? That she was unlikely to accept that a trans woman is biologically and, in reality, a woman. A view held by like the vast majority of people in the UK.

LMAO. No wonder they got their arse handed to them so comprehensively. Does @RobinMoiraWhite ever win cases? Is it just the ones relating to women's rights she always loses?

Maybe we should start crowdfunding on behalf of our opponents to ensure they always hire her to represent them?

i suspect it won’t include the words “my” or “competence” but might include “Foran” and “bundlesarehard”

I just came on to ask this? How on earth have SWE ended up with trans activist counsel? RMW’s interpretation of the law is completely biased. I wonder if that’s why SWE haven’t put out a statement of regret like WCC have done. Are they being advised (badly) to appeal? I kind of hope they do appeal (although I wouldn’t wish the stress on poor Rachel) as a second present on manifestation would be a real boost.

It’s fantastic news but I do wonder just how many more of these cases will be needed before organisations step back from the madness.

The lobby trainers have literally convinced these organisations that the law is wrong and shameful, and it is good and righteous to do 'better' and 'act ahead of the law'.

That's what has to be undone. And it is going to eventually require deprogramming type strategies.

SweetChilliChickenWrap · 10/01/2024 21:27

This jumped out for me in the BBC article:

gender-critical - where one believes that sex is a fact of biology

Well, what the fuck else is it? Honestly it's all barking mad.

Yes, the bit in the BBC report from their LGBTWHATEVER person tries very hard to present Rachel’s views and behaviour as unacceptable. It’s a nasty, sniping, poisonous piece. I think I’ll complain.

Good idea.

PurpleSparkledPixie · 10/01/2024 21:03

Thank you @LoobiJee for breaking that judgement down. I can't read walls of text so your posts have been incredibly helpful ❤

MrsOvertonsWindow · 10/01/2024 20:34

Thanks @RapidOnsetGenderCritic for sharing that. I can only imagine the complexity of all this for parents.
I am so disappointed with the teaching, social work & medical professions for selling children out so comprehensively. Instead of working together with parents supporting children they've abandoned all responsibility for safeguarding leaving parents adrift.
Awful.

ArabellaScott · 10/01/2024 20:32

I see the BBC commenter is working hard to pepper her viewpoint with suggestions that gc views are 'toxic'.

It wilnae work, hen. Everyone already read this bit:

'she was suspended for sharing views online that were gender-critical - where one believes that sex is a fact of biology that cannot be changed.'

And did their wtf.
