I'm tempted to branch out into whether BB realises that he's straying far from the path Justice Julian Knowles outlined when he declared (in re: Miller): “In this country we have never had a Cheka, a Gestapo or a Stasi. We have never lived in an Orwellian society."

Yet, here BB is. Monitoring MN to find material for disapproval and witch-finding. Labelling MN as Nazi while refusing to link, using dubious screenshots, and positively encouraging an Orwellian society and his own persona Cheka and Stasi-like reporting mechanisms. (I'm thinking of the infamous claim that 1 in 6 people in East Germany were reporting on their neighbours. Some say it was 1 in 60. However, it seems the Stasi had files on 5.6M people.)

It's bad enough that BB is so blinded by his cognitive biases he actively deceives himself but to mislead his followers…

Besides being a misogynist prick the thing that most amazes me about the singer Billy Bragg is that he can’t reliably hit a note, any note 😆 I saw him live years ago and he was the most crap act I’ve ever had the displeasure to watch. Fortunately, I’d not paid or I’d have wanted my money back, plus extra for the distress caused by hearing so many bum notes. I left after he’d murdered the second song and repaired to the nearest pub to calm down my bleeding ear drums.

No idea, but for those who don't know who barton is, the the first thing that always comes to mind is his brother, who was convicted of killing anthony walker. Now, he shouldn't be judged on his brothers actions but he should be judged on what he said about it. It's interesting that braggs obsession with all things trans has led him to overlook Bartons other behaviour, like minimising the murder of a teenager, or stubbing a cigarette out on a youth team players face, or hitting another player so hard it led to a detached retina ........... there is a lot more, his Wikipedia is a grim read.

joey Barton, even in his (mediocre) playing days was always a knuckle dragger. He has recently been in the "news" for being a misogynist/sexist about women football comentators, players and pundits. I suspect he's angling for a job on GB News (if he doesn't already have one)

Well, I'd never heard of Barton and no idea what he's said. It seems there are fights going on in Billy's head that nobody else has even been invited to.

@TheClogLady Barton is a raving sexist from the football world and is well known as an outspoken pig, has had plenty to say about women commentators in sport etc.

Decrying women who want to preserve women’s single sex spaces, sports and services as transphobes makes it harder to spot the actual transphobes and I don’t follow all the utterances of random former footballers so 🤷‍♀️
