As a palate cleanser, @BonfireLady , have a read of the thread BoiledBeetle linked to on the previous page. An alternative way of dealing with the me-me-me-ness of our TRA visitors and very much funnier than debating/appeasing them.

A palette cleanser sounds perfect. I will indeed.

As much as I do tend towards "reasonable and balanced" when I'm posting on here (because I find it helps me to get my thoughts out and take in what others are saying), I have a weak spot for all things funny. I'm still mindful that some people really do have distress from gender dysphoria but there are some situations where a good dose of humour is exactly what's needed.

That was quite the emotional ride but I do understand that it comes from a good and supportive place, where women lift up other women. Thankfully this time around (when things get difficult) I didn't even cry once 😬👍

I think the third person bollocks was simply to get a few more “shes” and “hers” in before they left. Harder to draw attention to one’s womanliness with I/me/mine.

There are also several posters - not just me - who have said that they find that debating on threads helps with gathering thoughts and understanding different aspects of why things have come to be the way that they are. In the time that I've been on this board, several debate-style threads have come and gone.

Bonfire agree that a real debate, where both sides engage with each other and with the arguments being presented, can be very helpful. But the thing is, I read a large number of Alpha's posts and not once can I remember seeing any attempt to do that.
