This a thread about a book about a thread about a book about a thread! (I think I’ve got the correct number of books and threads in there)

There are over 160 poems written by over 40 different Mumsnet usernames contained within its 208 pages.

There are also 12 Lurking Merkin poems lurking throughout the book!

first review to actually make it up is mine. So there's some other good ones pending. It's nice to feel like we'll get a head start before someone comes along to tell us off.

Youngest picked my copy up to have a sneer and I told her I'd written some of the poems in it. I think she was impressed, definitely surprised. I'm hoping she'll read it.

Do you think she'll work out who her mum is? And if she does will you admit she got it right or deny it forever and a day! (You could just tell her you're Boiledbeetle)

I know 45p I could have spent on....... Erm... A packet of cheap chicken noodles is the only thing springing to mind right now! I must be hungry!

I have no idea why they do it! They did it briefly on the first one! But not this soon!

Currently on 28 volume 2 and 6 volume 1 this month.

Out which there's been 13 book 2 and 1 vol 1 sales sent out today!

Currently on offer (Amazon do this off their own back it doesn't affect the amount of profit made on each book) don't know how long it will last though.

No. No. No. Maybe. No. No. Well... No. ..ooooh.... No. NO oh I don't know... aghhhhhh. Probably. No. No. Ye..... sobs.

How about if people post poems they do so in the knowledge they may at some point in a distant distant (so need to sort the crap out in my house) distant future if I do find there's enough to do something with and the memory of how stressed I get in the weeks leading up to publishing it have faded to the point where I don't wake in a cold sweat worrying about pages being in the wrong order and I've got the energy they may, or may not end up in a book.

(And for the love of God if someone does post a news related poem please say what it is about with relevant dates and maybe link to said item)

This is what it looked like the other week.

(I'm just delaying saying yes to the inevitable aren't I?)

If anyone who has a copy feels like posting a photo of it in the wild for me to steal and stick on Twitter (and Amazon at some point) that would be great!

Also it needs some reviews on Amazon if you've read it and enjoyed it.

Just had a notification to say mine is expected Wednesday rather then Tuesday 🙄

I'm assuming the weather is playing a massive factor.

I ordered twice in the first day once in the last hour of the day before you all knew which was the one that was supposed to be delivered yesterday and wasnt. Then a few hours later I ordered a second one and the delivery window had gone from one day delivery on prime to expected between 6-8th November so I'm assuming they are having issues somewhere, probably wherever they are doing the printing.

it hopefully also explains why we never moved off the processed number of sales that i woke up to yesterday morning! They are processing them again now, I'm just off to do a screenshot.

Finally get an email (again) that says my copy is out for delivery. So I go to check, and see its 6 stops away. Yay I think! Then the map appears with the van over 100 miles away!

They are just purposefully winding me up now!

@LarkLane what a way to spend a morning! I'm glad you've enjoyed it!

And I'm still not sure why everyone is getting so emotional over a barcode and the location it was printed in! 😉

The last page has blown me away. I got a bit emotional there.
